I picked up one of each. Not super thrilled with how Taker turned out though and hope he looks better in hand.

Sucks because now we probably won’t even get the luxury of seeing another 98’ taker for years, they had their chance with this one figure they knew everyone wanted and the design team dropped the ball… I hope it looks better in person, those over sized fore arms, that lower torso disproportionately placed with the larger upper torso and those face scans all need to change and I just don’t see that happening… maybe they can fix the torso and forearms but I highly doubt they’re editing the face scans

I agree that for an Ultimate there is a lot left to be desired for Taker. For the time period the head that fits with the cloak on works best, and I plan to keep the cloak on for display. I was at WM XIV and it was a heck of an entrance. I was able to preorder on Amazon, hopefully in hand it will be worth the $32 to recreate that moment.

Guess I’m lucky I display with entrance gear on and don’t mind the head that fits the robe, cuz I think it looks really good with that robe on. It’s like series 2 Nakamura I guess; looks good with the gear on, looks really bad without it

My assumption was these are just in the early stages and it will be painted, hopefully have the blue strap too since that’s the version he won. But now I’m starting to wonder if that isn’t the case, surely they can’t release it blank like it is in an ultimate line. Hopefully they confirm it was just an early sample. |

I'm thinking it's an early test shot. If you look closely at some of the joints on both Kane and Taker, you can see little pegs typical of prototypes. Same with the pegs in Taker's hands.
I think we'll see a few changes here and there before we get final shots. RSC just put up what they got around SDCC.

I'm confident there will be changes to these prototype images.
I hope they don't change too much about Kane, since he's damn near perfect as-is.
The belt I'm positive will change. There's no way they'd ship that...well, mostly no way they'd ship that lol
But I want to see his facial hair added to his chin. Then it will be perfect
