Fox picked up Becky and Brock tonight. USA got...well...Charlotte is champ again and Drew still has his sword. So, we will call it even?

I wonder if this was the plan all along, or a Hail Mary after last night.
I highly doubt it,he's a WWE guy and extremely tight with Heyman & Vince.Probably just waiting around until the COVID era was over and the fans where back and for them to scratch him a bigger check.Plus suppose to be close with Gable they guy WWE currently has a massive hard on for and someone the badly want to bring in.Which I am sure Brock could help out in which also might be worth paying him big bucks to return in their eyes.
Brock/Reigns will probably pop a bit of a rating on FOX and get some hype from the fans for their bout probably at Extreme Rules which is fine and all but again another PPV and main event match taking by a extremely limited part timer and another month or more where the current roster of talent is push to the side for the past.

After seeing Lesnar return, I can’t help but think ‘CM who?’

I think most (smart) people knew Brock was going to return. It wasnt if but when. There was never a doubt of where. Anyone that thought he was going to the other place was just fooling themselves.
Im not a huge fan of the way Bianca lost but assuming it brings her into a heel turn & freshens up her character Ill withhold judgement. Everyone was concerned about what WWE/Vince could/would do to to counter the other place. One place brought in an ice cream sales man & the other brought in 2 Wrestlemania Main Eventers. I think WWE just flexed again.

Look, all I'm gonna say about tonight is that this would be a great setup for a "Paul on a Pole" match...
I'll see myself out now.

Lol a month ago someone created a thread asking if anyone wants Brock back, and it was nearly a unanimous no. Now that he shows up, everyone is acting like it’s the greatest moment in years.
D-Bry was right…fickle…

Lol a month ago someone created a thread asking if anyone wants Brock back, and it was nearly a unanimous no. Now that he shows up, everyone is acting like it’s the greatest moment in years. D-Bry was right…fickle… My last memories of Brock are that crazy long title run as a part timer that everyone universally hated and complained about, and him crashing that MITB finish, which again, was pretty much universally hated. Oh, and him squashing over Kofi. Again, not exactly a pro-Brock reaction. At the time I believe the general consensus was "Brock go away, please don't come back". In a month, we'll be back to that. Good that Becky's back, but man how you going to Kofi Bianca like that... Brutal. I wanted to see the actual match, Bianca's match and Seth/Edge were the only two I even wanted to watch. At least one of them happened. Cool Priest and Riddle are getting over though, that's awesome. I've always found Seamus to be about as interesting as a can of white paint, wasn't a bad match though. Picked up well as it went on. Poor Priest though, that landing was *almost* as rough as the one Rey Fenix did, and Fenix's landing kept him off the PPV like 2 nights later.

What a show. Edge/Rollins ruled, loved RKO Bro getting the straps. Enjoyed Becky’s return, but why bury Bianca? And what’s up with Sasha? Brock’s return? Magnificent. Cena/Reigns was really good and I’m interested to see where the Goldberg/Lashley situation goes. Overall, a WrestleMania-level show. Bravo to the E!

I see Brock’s back to make his two TV appearances four weeks apart then his one 10 minute blowoff PPV match before cashing his 15mil check and vanishing again 🥱
And how absolutely disgusting and insulting to do Bianca like that after parading her around as a “Black Woman’s history” prop for months after WrestleMania.
There’s also a special irony in a walking cane being used as a central prop in the Goldberg match. It would be funny if it the match itself wasn’t for the 2nd biggest title in the company.
What a pathetic showing

I didn’t think Summerslam was very good, but did enjoy the returns of Lesner and Lynch. Guess the E once again showed why it’s the biggest dog in any town!

I, for one, did not miss Brock. At all.
And at this point, I'm going to throw my coin in to say I didn't miss "The Man" either.
I once made a post about how when you make an unbeatable, untouchable champion, one of the few ways to topple them is to send them away for awhile. Roman, while being the "Tribal Chief" and having been unstoppable, has shown time and time again he needs help to win. He didn't have his backup tonight and that was good but I wonder if he'll be able to beat Brock now.
That said, the point I was making is that Becky went away for awhile and they could have brought her back as a more balanced superstar. There was no need or even any logical point to have her stomp Bianca like that. Bianca has been built strong since Wrestlemania and now they Kofi'd her. Shoved her right into the ground in favor of a seven second squash. Becky didn't even do a finisher, that's how ridiculous it was!
No, the WWE had a chance here to really tone down the untouchable nature of "The Man" and make her just as popular but not as "guaranteed to win". This was a horrible move on the WWE's part and, honestly, from my readings, it's soured a lot of people on Becky immediately.
I mean, but maybe that's the point. Maybe they wanted to bring her back as a heel. Don't know why though, but maybe they feel she can be the female Roman Reigns.
