Is the torso actually thinner or does the render just look like its thinner. I wouldnt hold my breath on Mattel tooling a 2nd torso thats a one time use thats exactly the same as previously. I thought the first one wasn't fat enough for heel, Twin Towers Boss Man, yet the gut is too protruding for face Boss Man. Seemed like a mash up. Hopefully this one isn't too skinny. Though Boss Man lost weight and looked fit, he was still broad chested and broad shouldered. As for torso mold, I bet the reasons you highlight are precisely why he's getting the chase. I think it’s just the scaling for bigger characters is off. King Kong Bundy is built like Blob from X-Men. Umaga is too tall. Paul Bearer is incredibly thin. Mankind is also a bit too thin. Probably the only large character that came out right was Mabel/Viscera.

I wish we could get a fatter heel bossman with a soft goods shirt. In the early days he had the shirt open almost to the belt. Reflective aviators and a screaming mouth. Yep! If you ever watch OSW Review (Old School Wrestling) they always comment how it takes maybe 30 seconds for Boss Man's shirt to open up and come untucked. I think Jakks tried this look with flexible plastic (I didn't collect Jakks but I remember seeing it). If it were soft goods then the pants would need to be soft goods, too; otherwise, how would we tuck it in? lol Boss Man is one of those guys that may never get the perfect action figure.
