It’s been 11 years under Mattel’s license. There are still a ton of wrestlers under contract from Mattel’s early days. Do you think Mattel should release more Flashback attires from 10 years ago? Not rereleases necessary, but repaints where appropriate. For example, Singlet Undertaker (RIP Paul Bearer singlet), Maskless/Shirtless Kane, The Miz in shorts, King of Kings Triple H, racing stripe Edge, Long-sleeve MVP.
I’m just curious if there is a demand for gimmicks from Mattel’s early days. There are new collectors every year who mossed out on those old gimmicks. Those gimmicks are flashbacks now. There’s gotta be a market for the A-list talent, right?

Yes. We need MVP, HBK, Batista, edge, barbed wire tights Kane. I would love a purple and white MVP

Absolutely. I've been collecting casually since the nwo black and white Macho Man came out (first mattel figure I bought).
But since I got really into collecting Mattel figures, I've missed quite a few attires from years ago, and I've had to pay dearly for some of those.
I'm very happy that they're doing a wm6 warrior, as I missed the elites of that attire. I'm very happy they're releasing another big bossman, which seems to be similar attire to the one released previously. With the way the secondary market is, I absolutely think that some re-releases would be decent sellers.

I don’t need any, but sure. Why not for those that do? Especially now with the face printing tech.

I’d love that! I’ll never forget going into Super Target a day after Christmas and find all the new Mattel WWE figs a few days before they even had the official rights to sell them. I bought Elite 1 Taker, Ultimate Rivals 1 HBK/ Jericho, and Flex Force Undertaker. Then I went out to K-Mart on January 1st and found a whole bunch more.
Super fun times, I’d love some of those attires. I get very nostalgic for that time period and I’ll watch WWE 2009 and I refer to it as the Mattel Figs era (because all the guys look like they’re toys that came out in series 1) 😅👍

Absolutely. RVD alone has like 20 attires I want from 10+ years ago.

As always this request is a waste of time lol
Why make a 2007 Era HBK when we can get a early 90's Warrior with face paint from a random house show..🙃

Yes because there’s a ton of Ruthless Aggression looks that could be done.

If they made another Bret Hart like the Defining Moments I'd be so happy. I'm debating on just buying a custom jacket to just throw on my WM Bret as a way to finish my Hart Foundation stable.

I wouldn't mind seeing them. I'd buy them if they were women's figures

The question being asked is predominately attires from 2010-2013 or so? I can't remember when that Macho came out. But yes, I think Mattel can conceivably redo anything they've already done from that period. Purple Cena with the updated shirt material is something I would buy. Mattel could also do some of those as Ultimates and that would be totally justified if they find the right fit.
Not sure who specifically I would pick. I believe they're rereleasing Mania 25 HBK if that order sheet is to be believed. That's an expensive one I'm sure people will buy again. I'd rather have older attires for guys like RVD and Edge since there are a bunch we don't have. MVP's E9 figure is awesome, but they could redo that timeframe with the thicker body. Would love an 07-08 MVP over that, though. Lots of the guys are gone too. Big Show, Christian, Punk, Jericho, Cody, Goldust, Mark Henry, it makes the pool of guys who fit the criteria limited.

I specifically mean attires from 2009-2013 when Mattels first 10 or so series came out. That time period. I mean releasing figures from their early Elite series with new paint jobs.
