They don't want anymore midgets, yet they fired Luke Gallows, braun strowman, Bronson Reed and a 7' Indian guy? Meltzer said WWE only wants big guys and no midgets! Meltzer also said WWE is trying to sign Adam Cole to a big money new contract. But who is right, Meltzer or Meltzer? I guess there’s a “plans changed” coming somewhere. No more midgets being signed doesn't mean fire everyone on the roster that is small. Dave also said Cole is likely to be one of the acceptions since he is probably the biggest star they have on NXT for now |

Ultimately, I want him to be able to make money and be happy. If he re-signs with wwe, fine. If he signs with AEW, I'll selfishly be excited. Regardless, I can't fault the guy as long as he follows what makes him happy.

Vince will render him to 24/7 championship level if he were to stay. Even if they offered him more money, I don’t think the blow to his career would justify staying there. Most of his friends and his girlfriend are in AEW, plus he has more of a shot of being a top guy there. WWE is moving away from signing indie guys and reverting back to the developmental system it was 20 years ago. The writing is on the the wall, he needs to go.

Seen a story this weekend discussing an internal memo allegedly saying to consider Cole gone, no more attention should be dedicated to him.
Would fit if he were merely testing the market, regardless of his actual desires.

Take it for what its worth but there’s a rumor going around that WWE”s main roster pitch for Cole was for him to be a heel manager to someone on Smackdown.
Not saying its true, not saying it isn’t but man if that’s real, what a f**ked up thing to present to a guy who was one of your most reliable consistent top talents in NXT.
Also if true, its just another reason why his decision was so easy to move to AEW.

Brit Baker is in AEW so it makes sense why he left. I didn’t think too much of him in the first place. He’s one of those guys that is more interested in going spot to spot with zero selling in between, so he’s basically in a place where he fits in perfectly.
