AEW is created Vince now feels like he’s lost his power because guys can now seek out the other billionaire when unhappy Vince thinks, if I release enough top talent into the marketplace, eventually AEW will no longer have space for anymore Thus filling the cup with enough water to no longer be able to sustain any new water…taking it off the market Vince then possesses the power again. That’s my best tin foil hat conspiracy. Having said that, I don’t think Flair is a major loss other than figs which we have enough. It’s that, or the idea that they can cut all this money and be ridiculously profitable because in the grand scheme of things AEW hasn’t really affected their bottom line at all. AEW is doing their thing, but monetarily it hasn’t affected them at all. I guess at this point they just think the brand WWE is making the money and we can put anybody on TV? I would say that they think that’s the case but I also don’t really understand how they can look at the decline in every measurable way of their business and say we’ll be fine. I think these corporations are content these days with just making the money off sponsors and partners and they aren’t seeing that, yea, while that’s all good and great, they pay the bills now us, the fan base is the foundation of their money. If the shows have 0 fans, WWE a will still make money but sponsors will eventually be pulled when they realize nobody is seeing them.

Flair on a TNT/TBS show is just meant to be. Written in the stars, it's a must. Bring back a Flair for The Gold and you got money

Ric Flair at home last Wednesday flipping through the TV channels and comes across TNT. "Why are they airing old WCW Nitro shows on TNT still?" - Ric Ric then notices Tully and Arn on the TV. "Why are they airing old NWA World Wide Wrestling on TNT?" - Ric Rick then notices it doesn't say NWA or WCW, but AEW on the screen. "Why are they airing old AWA wrestling promoted by Verne Gagne on TNT?" - Ric Ric get told by his wife that it's All Elite Wrestling, and it's Tony Khan's promotion and that Tony pays ridiculous amounts of money to have old wrestlers he grew up idolizing on TV in his wrestling promotion so he can say he is friends with them. "Vince, it's Ric Flair... I'm out. I need to leave the WWE because uh.... just give me the release, Vince." - Ric *phone rings* "Hello, Tony Khan? I thought I would be hearing from you." - Ric Ric Flair and Tony Khan have been friends for awhile now, predating the creation of AEW.

Well, time to stock up on those Flair Ultimate Editions 😂 Kind of weird, but now it’s expected for everyone just to transfer over to AEW. I’m at a point where I barely know any of the guys on either roster in both WWE and AEW and I’m still in my 20s.

If you have tons of content, you are extremely valuable to everyone, especially with the rise of every network having a streaming option. The WWE tape library rights fees would keep them in business long after any collapse of their current product. However, creatively, they are all but in the ground dead.

Ric Flair and Tony Khan have been friends for awhile now, predating the creation of AEW. For a guy who has been a wrestling promoter for only 2 years, Tony Khan sure has plenty of wrestling legends as his friend. Because he’s rich, and has the connections and can afford to befriend these guys. Textbook definition of a Money Mark. You think if he was your average WFIGS poster pulling in 40-100 grand a year he’d be chummy with all these legends? No

To be honest didn’t think Flair had more than a legends deal. Figure it was just a case of Triple H being like “Hey Ric wanna come do this thing for us?”
