Can’t get over how hard this spot owned 2.0 sold themselves to me very well tonight. I was already hot on Garcia. 2.0 can do that jobber tag team role like TH2, except I actually want to hear them talk. Cut Evans loose, let Angelico be a singles jobber type guy, and 2.0 can take over the TH2 loudmouths that always lose role. |

I honestly didn’t care for tonight’s show at all. Nothing that made me wanna tune in next week. I still don’t care for AEW’s creative team… probably not as bad as RAW’s (in comparison), but not good.
The only thing that got my interest, is this Hangman/Dark Order story. I just hope it doesn’t lead to them “saving” Page and helping him defeat Omega/The Elite.

The only thing that got my interest, is this Hangman/Dark Order story. I just hope it doesn’t lead to them “saving” Page and helping him defeat Omega/The Elite. I don't think the agenda is for them to 'save' page. Ultimately, I think they're going to honor his wishes and let him run solo, helping him understand what it's like to have true friends compared to the elite, and allowing him to gain the confidence to overcome Kenny 1 on 1. I think he may ask Uno & Grayson to be ringside to control the Bucks @ whenever the 1 on 1 match is, calling back to the Bucks not being willing to corner him against Jericho. Kenny has been ducking Hangman and that's part of Kenny's character right now too. He's going to find out the hard way that the Elite don't always have his back like he hopes, and when he has to ultimately face Hangman 1 on 1, he's going to lose. Hangman will be the ultimate face, with the Dark Order still being friends, but not always by his side as a faction. Kenny will experience his fall from grace, as will the Bucks, as Callis and the Good Brothers abandon them. |

Great show, overall, but I continue to see things that could easily be improved, especially when there is so much talent in AEW.
The stalling at the beginning of the Jericho/Juvi match was terrible. I know in Mexico it's more-acceptable, but it was sloppy.
Cody's table bump was also very sloppy; looked like he threw himself backwards (because he did).
Allie continues to wrestle on television, and others far-better in the ring do not. I do enjoy Allie's character, though.
The irish-whips, lock-ups, and working strikes are all-around terrible in AEW. Off the top of my head, PAC is the only one who never phones anything in.

You can really tell Brock Anderson is Arn's son, because he's already really strong in this department for how new he is. |

This episode was really meh for me. I had no interest in what was happening tonight and I mainly tuned in for the main event and it was fine but that ending really sucked. I don't care about a Cody retirement teaser promo and it just felt so awkward watching it knowing that someone was gonna beat him up before he could conclude.

AEW is not competition to wwe? Don’t drink the Vince Kool Aid C’mon dude let’s not get into a kool aid discussion. It’s so lame. If anything these threads need a lot less of that vs crap that you so like to bring up all the time. It’s wrestling. The tribalism is so freaking lame. The more I think about this the more torn I am... A) anytime I look at a raw/SD thread is almost constant negativity from the wwe fans. Say what you want about aew superfans but at least we enjoy what we watch. It makes me not want to ever try a raw or SD because all I see is constant negativity like I'm not supposed to enjoy it but also somehow cling to it. If I see something on aew I like but others don't (*cough* Abaddon *cough*. Which is really funny considering I hated the undertaker and I hate basically all zombie things 😂. Go figure) I know I can like it without feeling judged. I can't say the same on the WWE boards here for things I've liked in that promotion. B) I'm Canadian, so I'm using hockey. I'm a Canucks fan. I know Leafs fans and Habs fans, and we all beak each other ruthlessly. This is a little different, but is it really? We're all just cheering for our favorite sports teams because we like them. Likewise we're supporting our favorite promotions because we like them. I suppose we could say this is more like NFL vs CFL vs xfl (who should probably pair up with cfl tbh) but the argument remains the same. Yeah there are people who take it to irrational extremes, but that happens everywhere, it's not a wrestling problem. |

Glad Black won in dominate fashion. Wrestling 101 tells me Cody is going to win the feud, but I like this so far.
I’m into the Page/Omega storyline which is the first time I’ve really been interested in either man really.
I think Miro is my favorite in the company. He should be the one to eventually beat Page after he beats Omega.
Give me a serious Penta/Andrade feud. Fenix can go do something else.
I want Mox to be a heel. Could easily see him turn on Eddie or attack Bryan/Punk once they debut.
I love Christian but I have zero interest in what he’s doing in this company.
Women really should have more than a segment and a squash match.

had to work tonight so i couldn't threadhead, but i'll check it out later or sometime this weekend for sure. from what i've read, it seems like it was a step down from last weeks show, but i'm sure i'll still enjoy it like always. sucks that juvibaby/jericho is getting crapped on for the most part, as i was really looking forward to that. i wasn't expecting it to live up to their matches from prior years by any means, but i expected more praise than what i've been seeing lol. i'll have to wait and see it all for myself before i comment on it. one thing i can say though is that i dig black's aew entrance... but the boxer/mma/booty shorts or what have you is a weird look after seeing him in trunks for so long lol. i understand wanting to change the look up a bit, and while i don't know exactly what i was expecting, that ain't it chief. ps. been working on some tings during what lil free time i have left and here's a lil taste. been scrapping about with some ideas and trying to keep myself from getting too rusty in photoshop and this was a result lol. could still use a few other details like the aew logo/dates/whatever, but i'm waiting to see if i actually have any use for it before i go all out with it.  regardless, i still think it looks pretty cool so far lol.  |
