Anyone else here a fan of this man’s work or is it just me? I love the hell out of his performances and it feels like he’s always trying to out do his own absurdity with each new film. In the last month I’ve watched Vampire’s Kiss, Willys Wonderland, Color Out Of Space, Mom and Dad, and Wicker Man. Think tonight I’ll watch Pig. What are some of your favorite Cage films?

Love him. Adaptation and The Weather Man are legitimately two of my favorite movies and his performance in Vampire's Kiss changed my perception of what acting is and can be.

Listen to Patrice O’Neal & Jim Norton discuss Face Off. Them talking about it is the best part of Face Off.
TBH Nic is nothing special. Only movies I liked from Nic are 8MM, Snake Eyes & Lord of War.

Pig was phenomenal. So well acted and such a basic but good story. Cage proving he can still actually act. Highly recommend.

Face/Off and Bad Lieutenant are probably my favorite of his that I've seen. I always forget that this movie actually happened and not only that it was directed by Herzog. But on Cage I like some of his work but I haven't seen a lot of his newer films. He is pretty much in a situation financially where he takes pretty much any role he can get. He had a year that he did like 7 movies and 5 of them were straight to video. Which is crazy to think about with someone like Cage. I really liked him in Wild at Heart, Trapped in Paradise, Bringing Out the Dead, and Raising Arizona. But the one film that a lot of people seem to look past is the one he actually won the Academy Award for (it probably should have gone to Sean Penn that year) and it's Leaving Las Vegas. He does such an amazing job and the film is great in that depressing sort of way so I guess maybe because it's not a very uplifting story people want to forget about it. It's powerful.

Con-Air & the National Treasures movies are my favorites…..also there’s a documentary that he hosts, can’t recall the exact name of it, it’s the history of cuss words or something like that & it’s hilarious at times….awesome actor

Wild at Heart is one of my favorites and seldom talked about with him. More people need to see it, along with Mandy.

Fun fact; despite becoming the most recognizable scene in the movie it only appears in an alternate cut and is only known because of YouTube making it a meme. My mind was blown and I was very disappointed when I actually watched the Wicker Man and learned it wasn't actually in it. Fortunately he still runs around in a bear costume punching women.

Fortunately he still runs around in a bear costume punching women. And when I do it, it's called assault & criminal mischief.

No one's going to talk about The Rock or Snake Eyes? Shame on all of you

Watched it for the first time a couple of days ago and was so confused because I still know that scene. Had to youtube it afterwards.
