I just got off the phone with Jimmy and told him I would post news of his 79th birthday on a few websites.
Since 2011 Jimmy has been a friend, father figure and mentor to me. The things he has done for me over those 10 years, wrestling and non wrestling related are things I could simply never repay, I can literally only "pay it forward."
The motto of Jimmy's "Boogie's Wrestling Camp" school (where Adam Page was once a trainee) is "Live your dreams" and whether wrestling related, non wrestling related personally or professionally at my two jobs through knowing Jimmy and through his support and encouragement and actions I have been living my dreams since 2011.
I would always love to hear stories about him if you would like to post.
And despite all the sadness with recent legend passings, there is happiness in my heart hearing Jimmy's voice, knowing he is happy and healthy and with the virtual signings so popular now he is also as well known as ever.
