I think it’s a sarcastic comment based on the perceived public stance by WWE that they don’t think AEW is competition.
Without mentioning AEW specifically, WWE claim that everything is competition. I read recently that their high up guy, Nick Khan recently said that even SLEEP is competition! I’m not being sarcastic, but I’m not sure if he was.
