The only one I can think of is Classy Freddy Blassie. I found him by himself at Walmart around Christmastime. I never saw him in stores prior to then. I didn't intend on getting him at first. I said why not and bought him. Right! That was another one for me that I got. Had no interest, saw it, bought it.
Strangely enough, it's also how I originally ended up with Gorilla Monsoon as well.

Over the past year, it's been a lot. There've been plenty over the year that I have planned to buy, but a lot of what I've picked up this year has been sheer impulse. As a result, I've kinda gotta dial it back and box some stuff away or sell it off. I'm running out of space.

The only time I do this is when I see a great deal. Amazon used to have figures on sale really often, and I'll pick up a good deal on Ringside's Black Friday. The best example I can think of was the $6 Legends John Cena clearance. I never would've bought that, but I can for $5.99.

I used to do that a lot because shelves were bare and if I went too long without finding anything I wanted I'd buy another damn sheamus or tyson kidd just because they were available.

AEW Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida, got excited to see AEW and got it all because Iโd never see it again
Series 4 Omega when I was looking for Series 5 so I didnโt leave with nothing. I like that I have it MOC now but I wasnโt a MOC guy before that

I havenโt done that with Mattelโs figures, Iโm more selective & conservative with money these days I guess because Iโm older now plus the fact that some of Mattelโs figures cost twice as much as Jakks did fifteen or so years agoโฆ.Now I was guilty of doing that with just about every Classic Superstars seriesโฆ.I had walls of them with at least two dozen or more that I wasnโt even really a fan of but for whatever reason just HAD to have their figures

Definitely the WWE MOTU line. When it first came out I was still a little bitter about them canceling the retro line and told myself I wouldn't buy any of them. It has since become my favorite sub-line Mattel has ever done.

Angel Garza. I donโt know him much. I had stopped watching NXT when he was there. I had stopped watching WWE before he was called up. But from what I understand he was Andradeโs tag partner. So I got him. I was gonna pass on the Top Picks Kofi but then I saw theyโre doing a matching Big E, so I grabbed him. I slept on the previous New Day Elites and regret it.

Started collecting seriously in 2014. Got all the new guys when released. One day realized I gave to fs about the current roster so I gave everyone I got to my son.
Now Im just selective with the legends. No more current jabronies. :-)

I stopped collecting when Jakks lost the license and recently got back into it when I saw the Legends Taker, and decided Iโd try to re create my original BCA line in Mattel form when possible, which should have limited figures. Then when the new macho came out and Jakks never was able to make him Iโve hunted him like crazy. The collectors editions, even if I donโt necessarily need it, Iโm drawn to it, like the Hayes. Didnโt need it, but saw it at a store and grabbed it. The chase/store exclusives are definitely wrestlers I usually wouldnโt grab (Kama excluded) but now that Iโm back into it it j see then no way Iโm passing them up
