I always thought he looked rough when I was younger. He's younger than Roman Reigns is now but looks about 20 years older. Hayes did not age well at all.

I grew up watching Hayes as a Freebird in WCCW and didnt realize he was Doc Hendrix when I started watching WWF again in the late 90s. Was kind of shocked actually lol.

As a kid I came back from a flea market (looking for LJNs of course) and came home to watch Superstars mid way through and I heard his voice. I knew the voice but couldn't place him until later on when I saw who Dok was.
For a guy who never wrestled in WWF (or at least very briefly in 1985) he sure has been able to adapt to what WWF wants in an employee and he's lasted this long.
