I still find him to be an incredibly confusing release. Like what happened? Guy is a talented worker, only 32, and just got tons of attention and star building effort put into him on NXT. He seems like a guy who can start at the midcard right now and you're potentially looking at him 6-7 years from now as a pretty reliable piece of the puzzle. Then again, I can't wrap my head around Bray Wyatt, either. I feel worse for Reed, though. The wrestling world is Bray's oyster right now.
But anyway, I do really hope his figures makes it out. Maybe WWE will show some mercy to Mattel just based on the number of things that are likely already in production that have to be scrapped because of all of these releases.

Hello Steve, will the Elite Bronson Reed still be coming out? I hope so as that figure will be great! Thanks I hope so. Trying to figure everything out now.

He had a dark match on the main roster recently, and I guess Vince really didn't like what he saw. He's good, but he's only 6'0, he's already 32, and from the sounds of it Vince wants bigger and younger. I don't agree with it, but I get the reasoning.

So why can I go on Amazon and buy an Aleister Black figure right now? Surely if it’s as “straight forward” as you say then those should have pulled down as soon as his no compete clause is out. My point is, WWE has the right to PRODUCE merch until the 90 day no compete clause is up, but there’s a lot of lead time on these toys. It’s not a switch that gets flipped 3 months after a talent is let go. Also, Forbes is a good source, but Forbes blogs are not. Anybody can post on there without any credentials. Would love to know that guy’s sources before I trusted him word for word. WWE contracts are public information, you can look up any number of guys and see their contracts. He directly links multiple contracts over 2 decades in his article. Amazon Inventory is not WWE's inventory. That's what they mean when they say inventory. WWE has to sell their inventory before the time is up. Amazon and other retailers don't have those rules. WWE contracts are public information? Maybe those that have been entered into evidence for lawsuits. You’re just moving the goal posts here… the point is, if the figure is already in production it could well still be released. I don’t have any more evidence than you do that it is or isn’t… so not really something worth taking a hard and fast stand on.

How many times have we seen a figure of a guy that just got released that wasn't a final figure? We just saw a completed Sting figure get tossed. I would be shocked if his figure gets released.

Fingers crossed his figure gets released. It’s the next set to go on preorder.
I’ll be surprised but I’d like to get a figure of him.

It’s possible that it’s in production. AFA showed an actual E89 Priest in one of the SDCC videos, I think the RSC Q&A one. So E89 could already be done. I don’t know how it all works really so forgive me if I’m ignorant on it.

Could be an early sample, shouldn't necessarily indicate that production has begun/finished on a set.

We were shown a lot of renders at SDCC that Bill later showed on video and referred to as final/near final products. I mean hell, we didn’t even have renders of basic 124 and Showdown series 6 before they were in stock on Ringside. I’m gonna think positive and hope it’s a part of my collection in a few months.

It's silly to think this is still coming. Hideo Itami was already in production at the time of his release and those were cancelled.

Just like Erik Rowan was last year and Chelsea Green & Braun were this year? lol. There’s examples both ways. Steve has said they aren’t sure yet. So there’s at least a chance it comes out.

Literally every wrestler that's been released prior to their figures been released, has still been released.

Literally every wrestler that's been released prior to their figures been released, has still been released. You're talking about figures that were already produced and already shipping when the releases happened. Not a figure that hasn't even begun production yet or at the very least still in process at the factory.

Literally every wrestler that's been released prior to their figures been released, has still been released. Erm... Legends 7 Sting? Elite 1 Jeff Hardy? There have been others too... I'm sure someone (Enzo?) was scheduled for Elite 62, but he was released so it was changed to Sting.
