Just curious what the rules are regarding posters. I know in the past I've seen gimmick posters deleted on sight, just wondered what the current thoughts of the MODs are.

I don’t mind them as long as it’s all in good fun and done in moderation. No one should take themselves so seriously that they can’t enjoy a joke every now and again. But if it starts to detract from the conversation on a regular basis and they lose sight of that, yeah, it doesn’t hurt to remind them to dial it back a bit. If that doesn’t work and they insist on being a pest, then the appropriate steps should be taken to warn/temp ban/permanently ban them. |
