-E57 Jeff Hardy and Neville. The 1st 2 figures I ever bought with money from my 1st job.
-Unmatched 1 Kenny Omega. A super recent figure, but I never thought I'd have a perfect (in my eyes) Kenny Omega.
-Any NXT guys basically from 2016-2019. NXT's best days in my opinion. Tons of great figures/attires.

Anything I have memories of owning as a child. The first figures my little brother and I got were series 1 Hasbro Jake The Snake and Hulk Hogan. Our Mum bought them for us from MacDonalds Toy Shop in our home town. I remember receiving two of the bearhug action Huskster at my 10th birthday party. Doing Royal Rumbles by shaking our ring up and down til only 1 wrestler remained in the ring. Playing with my original series Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. Ninjas were banned in Britain at the time! My Aunt buying me a Winston Ghostbusters figure when I was in hospital. She bought me loads of toys, really spoiled me. Bravestarr is another I remember. I remember loving my M.A.S.K toys, Transformers, Thundercats and He-Man. The memories of these bring me great joy and I still get that from collecting Mattel WWE characters from my childhood through to my late teenage years.
Brilliant post -- thanks for sharing

BCA Wild Man Marc Mero. My parents took me to Toys R Us when I was a kid after a surgery and that’s the figure I picked out.

Legends 10 Vader, legends 11 bam bam. Missed out on both of these when the came out a few years ago as their second releases back in 2014,2016. Now that I recently came back to the line this year, I literally came back at the right time since they both released this year.

Any figures from early 90's WCW,that's what got me into wrestling watching with my dad. I lost my dad about 15 years ago and anytime I see figures from that time frame brings back all the memories like it was yesterday watching with him.

When I moved to the United States from Canada at 4, it was a bit of a culture/language shock. We moved to be closer to my mother's side of the family where I was introduced to a cousin who I became instantly close with. He's the reason I became a fan when I went to his place to watch WrestleMania IV. That day he gave me a bunch of his old LJNs except for Randy Savage. Unfortunately he passed away in 2011. When my aunt was cleaning out some of his old stuff she came across the LJN Savage and gave it to me. It sits on my desk now and is my most cherished figure.

Any of the original BCAs. I know they were limited on articulation, but anyone that had them will tell you they were super easy to play with and so much fun. The first three I got were Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, and Mankind. I remember sending away a money order that I had to go to the bank to get Undertaker from a magazine. Imagine doing that now.
The TTL’s came out and I started getting as many of those as I could, but I never liked them as much. They were much harder to play with. The later ones were much better. But in the beginning, yikes.
I also loved the later Toybiz WCW figures. I had a ton of those too. Bret, Benoit, Booker, Sting 6 pack, Steiners, and Jericho. The early WCW Toybiz were fine, but I thought they really improved.
To this day though, I remember seeing the first R3’s at a Walmart. I got Matt Hardy and Kane just to test them out. I needed a new Kane anyway. Still my favorite figures ever made. I still have that Kane on display. I loved how easy they were to play with, but looked realistic. Those blended the BCA’s, TTL’s, and ToyBiz’s perfectly to me. I liked them so much I begged to keep checking to see if they got more and ended up with all of them minus the Christian I never saw.

The general answer for me is any figure from the Golden Era, especially if there’s a figure from the LJN days. Like most here, I purchase Mattel figures to feed nostalgia.
Specifically, the figure that I was most excited for was Ken Shamrock. He became my favorite athlete when I saw him fight in ‘93 and he brought me back to the WWF in ‘97. I would post on these forums over and over about how my collection could end with a Mattel Shamrock and they came through for me in 2017. The first figure I ever preordered and the one I purchased the most. Every time I received another in the mail, it was like getting it for the first time. Then Shamrock, himself, sent me a signed figure. I could exit the hobby at this point.
But…I love collecting figures geared towards me.

Great post.
ALso loved the Jakks BCA post -- those figures were really great. Though I liked the early TTL figures just as much

All of my old Hasbros, but especially Hasbro Jake Roberts, as that was the one that set me down the path of collecting wrestling figures. I started watching regularly just as the Hasbro line had hit stores, and my dad found me that one before I had even seen any of them on the shelves.

Just came back to this thread to say thank you all for posting some truly heartwarming stories! It’s good to know that I’m not the only one who has a lot of happy memories with their wrestling figures.
Though, reading the posts you guys have posted reminded me. How could I forget to mention all my Jakks figures? Those figures played such a big part in making my childhood as fun as it was, and is why I still collect wrestling figures to this day. From all the crazy spots and fun storylines me and my brother used to do, and even doing some really great matches with them. Though, in particular, my childhood favorites that I will always cherish would be my TTL and RA figures of Matt and Jeff Hardy (especially Adrenaline 1 Jeff and Adrenaline 2 Matt), and the Adrenaline 10 Triple H.
