So I know that these figures are mass produced, so mistakes are bound to slip through the cracks. Just looking to see what's the most interesting factory errors you own or have come across.
Mine I didn't notice till after I had the figure for a while. It was the 2nd vader fig released and the foot was put on the boots backwards so the foot faced the right way but the laces faced the back. Post pics if ya got em.

My Wrestlemania Mattel Scott Hall has the “hall” logo double-printed on his butt creating a double-vision effect snd it looks cool as hell. I didn’t even realize it was an error for a long time. My Summerslam ‘98 Edge has his logo on one side printed upside down.
Other than those, I’ve had a lot of figures with the wrong pieces. Like two left shins. Two right kneepads. Two right biceps. My Chyna I thought had her arm on backwards because her bicep was facing the wrong direction. Then I realized she had swivel elbows which was a huge relief. My Jinder Mahal that came with the scale ring, his foot was put on backwards, so I had to take the foot off (not the whole boot, just the foot) and reattach it.
Oh! And my RSC Ultimate Warrior came with two left open hands.

Not Mattel but I once stumbled upon Jakks Adrenaline Series 1 Jeff Hardy mispacked with HBK instead of Tommy Dreamer.

I've had the same problem with several elite Mankinds. My L8 Ultimate Warrior came with two right hands, one holding the mic so it was very obvious for a MOC collector. |

I have an NXT Elite Seth Rollins where the box is half Rollins/half Bayley. The front and back of the box has all the info for Rollins, but the sides and insert logo behind the figure are for Bayley.

My Legends Vader's legs were back to front in the box, and apparently the guy in the factory didn't notice when applying the leg details as they were applied back to front so he looks pretty weird lol

Came across the Jakks two pack of Big Daddy V and Matt Striker that was mispacked with two Striker figures. Wish I would have taken a photo.

My E45 Seth Rollins originally came packaged with his foot backwards, but his kickpad was facing the correct way. Also, one of my E64 Rollins figures had his right knee joint placed backwards. This one was a little less noticeable because the kneepad hid it, but it’s kind of funny that both times I got a backwards joint figure, they were both Rollins. Thankfully, I fixed the foot on E45 Rollins, and I ended buying a new E64 Rollins that had no backwards knee problems, so I used the old one with the backwards knee for extra parts for other Rollins customs.

A couple of times I saw a Legends Series 8 Paul Orndorff with black thighs. Still had the red trunks, but it made him look like he was wearing compression shorts. I have a pic around here somewhere. EDIT: found it. Weird that I've seen this multiple times across different locations.  |

My Ringside Exclusive Ultimate Warrior has 2 random loose hands floating around in the box. All other hands are intact in the package, these are just extras for some reason. Nothing crazy, but I always thought it was odd.

I can't remember what Basic series it was, but I saw a Toys R Us one time that had probably at least 10 Rock figures on Alberto Del Rio cards. I always wondered how widespread that error was.

Quite a few people reported that their Amazon Rock UE figures came with Eddie's "I'm Your Papi" t-shirt... that's pretty weird.

A JAKKS suited Ric Flair was in Booker T packaging. I didn’t know anything about repacks back then but it looked factory sealed.

This must’ve been a common production error for the NXT Elite packaging. I know I had seen some Ruby Riot with Drew McIntyre side panels/ backer when that wave was in the store. |
