For anyone else that owns this figure, does the wig come off like the original Elite? The promo pics show it as being removable, but on mine, it is definitely not. I was just wondering if this is a one-off issue or if any of you have the same problem? Thanks!  |

I heard with a little bit of force it can be removed and swapped but mine felt very secure and didn’t fell like trying. I ended up head swapping so I could use different wigs

I have that Doink. A nice member on this site sourced one for me from the States.
The wig does NOT come off.

I asked Steve if the wigs were swappable during his Instagram Q&A and he said they were. You mean the ultimate edition, not the flashback 😉 |

Pretty sure it’s just glued on like a real hairpiece on other figures. Try putting the head in boiling water to melt the glue and see if it comes off afterwards

It is part of the head on this one. Only the earlier version had the wig variants. This one did not come with wigs to swap.

I've seen so many loose Doink figures for sale without any of the wigs. It breaks my heart.

They should have given this Doink the slightly longer, stringier hair. Would have worked better for a Ray Apollo Doink.

They should have given this Doink the slightly longer, stringier hair. Would have worked better for a Ray Apollo Doink. Agreed! I said the same thing when it was first revealed. If memory serves me right, I don't believe Matt Borne was ever in this attire...it was strictly Ray Apollo. Side note...dammit, we still need a Dink. They already have some tooling that would likely work between El Torito, Hornswaggle and the upcoming child Dominic. Honestly, I thought it would have been cool if they included him with the New Gen arena. It would have been a cool nod to Jakks canceled Dink that was supposed to come with the bend 'ems ring way back in the day. |

I suggested a long time ago he come with doink in a battle pack with 3 wigs so you could potentially buy three and get the survivor series team, but then they made the FB2 elite, so that covered that look |
