It was weird Jakks made him with long hair and pink tights but that was typical of Jakks messing up or purposely making colors or outfits guys didn't wear at particular times. I know they had his long hair head on stock from Strike Force but why not do the baby blue? It reminds me of Evil Doink being Ray Apollo's outfit.

Brother Love sold the DDT perfectly here Seems like the perfect set of 4 for a build-a-set of the Brother Love stage; Brother Love, Rick Martel in a suit (with the walking stick), Jake in the tights he was wearing when he was blinded (with the removable sweater and pants from this episode), and Tony Garea. Great segment to further the feud. They didn't need to have countless matches, save that for the PPV's or big events where it matters. I loved Pritchard's explanation on how to take the DDT, all he said was listen to Jake. |

Ray asks why he came back and Rick says it's because of fan demand. They transition to Rick saying that he's gunning for Razor Ramon and the IC title. Fun exchange at the end with Ray saying Rick's problem over the years has been his ego, to which Rick says that he's just jealous. The way they both speak was kind of weird. It's French, but it's very cleaned up and formal unlike what you would hear two Quebecois speak like normally. I guess they were trying to make it easily accessible for other French markets. |
