So it seems like WWE wasn't kidding about NXT going thru a complete change. I personally thought there was nothing wrong with NXT in the first place. I think Vince is just delusional when it comes to making decisions now. It's very hard for NXT wrestlers to have any hope of making it, if they immediately get lost in the shuffle once they get called up due to poor booking, crappy story line or character change (Karrian Kross). So overall I think NXT is going to be a complete failure soon, the fact that WWE isn't considering any independent wrestlers well make it harder to revamp the brand, because now they gotta train these new athletes they recruit who aren't wrestlers or have any idea how to wrestle. And that can take a year or so depending how quick or determine they are. NXT was suppose to be the future, but doesnt look that way to me anymore.

This is an impossible question to answer at the moment. If this is the look they choose to go with moving forward its not exactly the best start to a “new era” in my opinion. But I’m here to give it a chance before the crucifying begins.

It's gonna be a success.
To be honest, NXT was never supposed to be a third brand. It was supposed to be a farm league to get the talent ready for WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown.
Eventually, NXT became a third brand and there was no farm league. I personally feel that the next NXT that Vince has set going forward will be a success, because fans will still watch it - then come online and complain about it - only to watch it again the following weeks.

I love NXT and it is my favourite weekly wrestling show by a mile. I am going to go into this with an open mind and hope for the best.

I don’t really get the image inside the logo, but it’s hard to judge what NXT will be like based off a logo. I’d like to see the matches slowed down a bit though. Everything happens too fast, no one sells anything. (Gargano and Cole, I’m looking at you.) It’s like a mad rush to move from spot to spot with nothing in between.

I watched NXT for the PWG'esque style they were doing with guys like Gargano, Andrade, Cole etc. I don't wanna watch a bunch of footballers slowly walk around and slap eachother for 5 minutes while commentary blasts on about what a monumental moment in time it is.

I don’t think the product will change too much for the time being. They’ve got their roster that is there. Where are they going? Nowhere, unless they release everyone who is talented lol. They can’t just throw a dozen newbies in there.

What are we basing this on? A logo? I'll watch at least a couple of episodes before deciding.

I feel like this is the start of the downfall and will be off USA and back exclusively on Peacock by Spring 2022.
What I loved about NXT was that they had a little bit of everything. They had spot monkeys, thigh slappers, heavy hitters, workers and women. It seems now everything is just going to move to the big burly guys that can't sell to save their lives.

It's too soon to tell. I just hope that the NXT fans still enjoy it.

if they go forward with the size precedent, I think it may be for the best. AEW has that niche hardcore fan market so why compete with it? stay in your lane and do what brought you success, and that’s what wwe should do.
it’ll be very interesting having two wrestling companies with completely different approaches to the talent.

It truly will be a "farm league" feel with a push toward Sports Entertainment stars instead of wrestlers. Viewership will decline, and an option for watching wrestling will vanish.

Once AEW gets too close to WWE, they’ll readjust and start NXT: EVOLVE and let Gabe scout all the indie talent he wants.

I just reckon it'll be like it was in 2012, which was mint! The logo is obviously ing well pants, but we'll all get used to it.
