Maybe you have bad luck. I have three of the Austin figure and all came with three different heads.

I can only explain this frequency to myself because the standard head is very similar to the laughing head.

My Austin had the 3 different heads, but only 1 was manufactured to be swappable.

After reading this i had to go check mine and i thought i got took too, then I finally realized mine were actually different. those 2 smiling heads are soooo similar, with one just having the bottom teeth showing and the other not. No wonder the factory mistakes them

same, just discovered this tonight Mine is like that as well. Does anyone have an Austin were all three heads are swappable? I am not understanding the question. I said in another UE9 thread that Flair and Austin were the first two UE figures that the heads actually popped on and off without heating them. The swapping was smooth on all the heads.

I think 3 of us who own UE Austin’s have an issue where the head that is on the figure has the easy pop on and off head, while the other 2 heads simply have the hole that once it’s on, without heating it won’t pop on and off easily

Every other UE I have gotten you need to heat the other heads to get them to pop on.

Honestly I would have never noticed the Austin thing until I read this and went to change him outta the shirt into the vest

Mines are fine also. But a common problem I’m experiencing with every ultimate I get is the additional heads don’t seem to lock onto the ball joint correctly so it just comes off, which is making me like ultimates less and less going forward

Two out of the three heads on mine have the regular head mold, not the UE swappable neck insert.

Mine are like that as well (same with Flair) but they all pop on and off better than any past UE figures. And don’t suffer from giraffe neck syndrome.

And don’t suffer from giraffe neck syndrome. this is exactly why my Austin looks like, but my flair, both heads have the thicker piece that allows for quick swapping without heating or forcing

I just looked at mine and, yeah, my Austin heads look like this too. However, I am able to swap the heads on all of them just fine. Mine is currently sporting the neutral expression head and, yeah, just tested, head goes off and on just fine despite not being molded like the removable ones.

So I just took a closer look at my figures after reading this post, I have three of Austin and just noticed one of my hats that is supposed to have a skull says Usos on it 🤣 should I get in contact with Mattel to try and get a replacement.

That is an odd one. unfortunately Mattel doesn't have replacement parts for anything it seems.
