wow, so i got the game and ive already played one of the best baseball games ever.
i played some guy online and i was the yankees, he was the phillies. he had cole hammels and i had phil hughes on the mound. Hughes had a perfect game going until the 6 when ryan howard hit a hr and it was 1-0. Then, in the bottem of the 9th, with 1 out, A-Rod hits a HR to tie it and then matsui steps up and wins the thing with the next pitch for a homerun. i couldnt stop screaming, it was just an amazing game.
But the show seems great to me. i love the my music jukebox feature along with the deep rosters. im going to be hooked on this game for a while, i can tell.

I want to buy one but I am not sure which one to get, I haven't got a game since the mvp series so which one do you guys suggest? and I hope the one I get has Jacoby ellisbury in it. He's in the game. If you have a PS3, download the demo. Get The Show. It's as close to MVP as you can get between the two baseball games. |

He wasn't in the original game, but he was in the updated rosters. Correct! His name was Dennis Miles...when the game came out, he was not yet in the MLBPA....same went for Kei Igawa (whose name was Keith Irvin) |

I can't get the My Music feature to work on my PSP. I added 6-8 songs and it kept playing the same song over and over. After deleting that from the playlist, it wouldn't play any songs at all. Any ideas?

I haven't played a baseball in quite some time. I think the last one was a college game in 05. The Show is great. Doesn't let me down in any aspect whatsoever.

The only part I hate about this game is the game decides what sleeves you wear.
At EVERY night game no matter if its April or August, the game puts LONG SLEEVES on your players.....and if you select LONG sleeves the game gives EVERYONE short sleeves during every day game except on Sundays.
So I guess doing Jeter's one-sleeve is out of the question and this makes the new 3/4 sleeve option in the profiles a waste.

I must say this game is pretty sick. I got it for PS3 and the graphics are much improve and its much more lifelike. I love that the crowd goes for foul balls and the whol beachball thing now. SOmetimes it gets out of hand like I saw 6 beach balls down the third base line but still. A lot of little things make this game great.

You must still be playing Spring Training. Because in Franchise...and this is well documented on the IGN.com message boards....that during night games the game GIVES you long sleeves no matter WHAT you pick. And if you pick LONG SLEEVES, the game gives you short sleeves during the day except on Sunday.....sunday is the only game where if you pick somebody to wear 3/4 or long they will actually wear it. |

FINALLY got this today,  ing awesome controls better than 2k7 and I don't hit a million home runs. Played a great exhibition Mets/Astros game and won with a Walkoff Grand Slam by Mark Loretta. For $40 I'm not complaining. |
