I wish I knew how to post pics as that would help tremendously but the 3 attires in the poll at the last ones needed to complete HBK's original DX run from start to finish.
Raw 8/11/97 - HBK vs Mankind, first time Rick Rude and Triple H helped HBK. The start of it all.
Ground Zero - HBK vs Taker, basically the Badd Blood outfit but with blue trimming
Royal Rumble 98 - All red with white, black and red hearts. Interesting thing he actually wore this outfit on Raw 11/3/97 with a red bandana the same way Scott and Kev wore them on Nitro... given we got a Scott with one and now getting a Kev too, Id love to see HBK with one too haha
For reference, his other attires during this run were:
Black with White, Black and Silver Hearts [Elite 19 and Lost Legends] - Badd Blood, Raw 10/20/97, 11/24/97, 12/22/97, 12/29/97
Black with White, Black and Red Hearts [Ultimate Edition] - Survivor Series 97, Raw 12/15/97

Have to go with the 3rd option, Raw 11.3.97 and Ground Zero. Though, I would prefer the entrance gear of Ground Zero over the ones he wore on Raw. Also, I consider the 1st attire to be WWF Champion HBK era, he wore that attire at Survivor Series 1996 vs Sid.

I distinctly remember him wearing black tights with blue trim around the hearts when he was making “a certain motion” while his pyro went off. From Ground Zero. I want THAT. I think it was in one of the THQ N64 games.

i voted ground zero but i want the royal rumble tights as well.
but what i really, really, really want is for them to take another crack at the dx:iyh attire in ultimate form. give us better and more accurate heads, more detail on the tights deco if possible (gradients on the x's) and include knee pads. would be a hot seller for sure.

Rumble 98 or GZ but totally agree I would rather see them do the IYHDX attire over again, and try and get it more accurate.

As someone who mainly remembers Shawn from my SNES, I like HBK in any combo of red, black, and white. Apologies to those who appreciate him for actual, non-video game matches.  |
