Shannon Spruill, the former professional wrestler who went by the ring name Daffney Unger, has died, SHIMMER women’s professional wrestling said in a statement Thursday.
Spruill was 46. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Georgia Police had been searching for Spruill after she posted a video that had other wrestlers and fans worried for for her well-being.
“Do you guys not understand that I’m all alone,” Spruill said while crying during an Instagram live broadcast on Wednesday.
Spruill is best-known for her appearances with World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action throughout the 2000s.
She was a bright spot in WCW
