I'm only buying (most, not all) legends, and they're getting opened so it doesn't matter to much if they're "out of place".

Back in the jakks days I wanted every cs but I was a lot younger and more foolish back then. Now I just buy very selectively what i like. It’s a lot more casual and aside from supply issues on certain figs I want (especially being in the uk) it’s much more enjoyable.

I very briefly thought about buying every single ultimate edition since the packaging will stay uniform. I mean I already have most of them. But I’m not going down that route. I just can’t stomach buying a figure I don’t want. I mean, good lord… what if I wanted to complete the line and a Miz Ultimate came out?  that. I love you. |

I have only completed one full set of figures, and that’s was legend series 11.

Yes, distribution is terrible and certain figures are too hard to pre-order online or find in person.

I used to want every legends and flashback that came out. Now? I don’t really care if I get them or not. I’m just not into the lines like I used to be and I’m tired of having the same figures over and over Yeah, I used to collect every single Legend/Flashback - but there comes a point (mostly with the Legends series), where it's "...oh, him again" and it doesn't really get the juices flowing. I know lots of people loved figures like the new Vader and Bam Bam - but to me, they were just lesser-known versions of guys I already have (twice). |

My only completion problem right now, is every Elite CM Punk.
I only need the All Stars, Elite 11, and BoPPV MITB. It was hard enough trying to find any of them for a decent price (AUD) before he returned, but now that he has, I'm not even going to try looking for a while.
I'll finish them one day.

I’ve been that way with the new legends line MOC. At the moment the only one I’m missing is a regular Beefcake, but I’m thinking that may be a good reason to break the streak and stop buying figures I don’t want just to say I have them all.

No, but I’m worse now than when I first started. When I first started, I only got a new figure of someone I already had if they had a wildly updated look or gimmick or it came with a championship belt I didn’t have, CM Punk being the only exception. The other exception was if it was part of a BAF set. Then I think around the time Seth Rollins started his single run, the criteria lowered. Well, I have his first singles run elite. That’s an updated look, so it counts. Oh, but that Money in the Bank Rollins has an updated briefcase and the first updated WWE title and I need those. OK, this os White Ranger Rollins and he looks so cool, I definitely need it. Then I ended up with a bunch of Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens and Sami Zayns and the whole thing had fallen apart. Now I’m trying to stick back to my original rule but I’ll allow myself leeway if I think the attire looks cool enough.

Nope. I buy what I want, and I don't buy what I don't want. I'd say the only times I've ever bought for the sake of "completion" was when I really only wanted Warbeard Hanson and Otis from their respective tag-teams, but wound up buy Rowe and Tucky to finish them off.

I still get a lot of figures including ones I may not be super keen on but I don't get them all anymore. From 2012 to 2016ish I had every figure from every set. I also got myself into some credit card debt too so I had to examine just what the hell I was doing with my life.
If I just absolutely hate a figure I won't get it. The problem became apparent to me when I bought Kane from 2 sets that were identical rereleases because I didn't want to break the streak. Still, it took another year or more of introspection to stop doing things like that.

My goal was always to collect every character there is! After 11 years I can say that there is none, that either AEW Jazwares or WWE Mattel have come out with, that I don't have, despite it being Harley Race, Texas Tornado, Kassius Ohno or whoever!

I'd happily buy it. That's the one Miz figure I really want.
Edit: Yes I'm aware that Elite 53 is that attire but they left off the paint apps and it looked crappy. Do it again and do it right.

I only get people I like but also have this thing where I need at least one from each series. Worked out so far cuz there's always someone I like / haven't got anyone I didn't want.
