I'm hoping Jeff goes to Smackdown in the draft and gets a better run.

Hopefully when Nick Khan does the next round of budget cuts, Jeff gets released so he can go to AEW and be treated with respect. I'd be up for this too but then the chorus of "AEW picking up WWE's released stars" would go on and on. Hopefully this spike in wrestling excitement just sends both creative teams through the roof so they can start making better decisions and see who should look strong / who shouldnt! Not in wwe eyes

People buy and remember him for what he did 10-25 years ago. 40+ Jeff has been a jobber since his brother left.
Most aging veterans don't get the Edge treatment.

Shouldn’t this be in the Wrestling thread? Seems more like a conversation about how he isn’t being used properly and not about wrestling figs.

He'll always be a highly sought after figure: WWE Legend: Check Toyetic look: CHECK! Owned a ton of major WWE titles: Check Facepaint, crazy colors, style: Check Tons of colorful attires to choose from: Check! None of those things help Jeff in WWE present day. Ya, he's a legend, but he doesn't put out the same energy he used to. He's slowed down a lot and doesn't have the charisma he used to have. Not to mention frequent personal issues that don't help curry favor with Vince. Jeff has always been a merch mover it seems though. Quick question, would you consider him one of the most over guys in wrestling over the last 25 or so years? Absolutely... I remember there was a time in WWE (around 2008/2009?) when he was right up there with Cena as the top guy.

Respectfully, that wasn't what my initial post said -- that's what it was turned into by people commenting. I was commenting on how popular he is in the figure world..

I remember there was a time in WWE (around 2008/2009?) when he was right up there with Cena as the top guy. Toy wise, I remember his return when he finally got a second RA figure in that Adrenaline 2 pack with Johnny Nitro in the Jakks day and how hot that 2 pack was. Like, I think they sold out of the 2 initial shipments at ringside and it went all the way to a July back order in like January. I remember finding two RIGHT as they were stocking them and picking one up for a buddy of mine on these boards that was local to me that we used to help each other out with figs (RA, CS, and Marvel Legends) findings in the area and getting a CS 1 Shawn Michaels out of it…which at the time was the 1 figure I was looking for (I missed put on it when CS 1 hit stores). and then giving my best buddy my 2 pack from Ringside (for whatever reason RSC and at least TRU had gotten them at the same time). I also remember how crazy Adrenaline 1 Jeff was before that price was.

I’m from near his home town. When he was the U.S. champ during the Orton feud, they main evented a house show here and Jeff’s pop was HUGE. Even the kids and people not born during the Attitude Era popped big time for the guy. I know he was a home town hero, but he got a bigger reaction than Daniel Bryan.

Ever since the days of Jakks RA, I have never seen Jeff Hardy figures shelfwarm. I only ever saw one of his Jakks figures on the shelf back then, and that was the 'Off The Ropes' Series 12. Other than that, any set he was in, they always had all of them except for him. The only Jeff i've ever seen shelf warm is the Basic 118 figure.

I remember during the Jakks RA era he was literally one of the hardest to find. His figures would not sit on shelves. I still have this story about his Cyber Sunday figure. I went in one day to toysrus and had asked an employee about it and he said someone just left with one. I was so disappointed. He then told me to come in tomorrow morning that there might be one and he’d save it for me. I come in next morning and they had saved it for me behind the counter. Awesome memory indeed. To go back on topic, Jeff’s figures are always a treat and move well. There’s still plenty of Flashback Jeff’s that Mattel needs to cover before his contract is up. I fear he’s leaving for AEW and for worse Mattel has yet to even BOTHER to correct his tankful torso.

Sentimental value for sure. Half of the Jeff figures that Mattel has produced have been Flashback attires.

I don’t think I need one more Jeff Harvey. I think I’ve got every era of him except for the Hardy Boyz debut with the colorful tights and the P.S. Hayes era. I don’t really need either of those.
Although, I’ll still buy every flashback of him they make, even if it’s a double dip.

With how WWE presents its talent and lacks any sort of quality control in terms of story telling, continuity, etc...he could face Roman Reigns or Bobby Lashley for the world title in two months on PPV.
He's gotta be one of the best merch movers for the company still. He's such a superstar and everything that is Jeff Hardy is different from everybody else. I think he deserves so much more.
