Tonight on Raw, Jeff Hardy was literally a jobber in the 24/7 title mess.
BUT -- his Ultimate Edition is totally sold out, his Elite Top Picks is one of RSC's best-sellers, despite so many Jeffs recently.
You can't help but think -- why does WWE keep dropping the ball? And how can Mattel get Jeff's reach, but not the WWE itself...

A lot of this is very random with Vince. He cycles guys with the 50/50 booking now. Another example is Drew McIntyre. He is suddenly a jobber in the U.S. Title scene after winning the main event Wrestlemania a year and a half ago.

Vince doesn't know his own a**hole from a hole in the ground.

He was the top guy on Raw for months. Now he's jobbing to Sheamus just to get in line for a U.S. Title shot with Damien Priest, who also beat him on tv about a week ago.

He'll always be a highly sought after figure:
WWE Legend: Check
Toyetic look: CHECK!
Owned a ton of major WWE titles: Check
Facepaint, crazy colors, style: Check
Tons of colorful attires to choose from: Check!
None of those things help Jeff in WWE present day. Ya, he's a legend, but he doesn't put out the same energy he used to. He's slowed down a lot and doesn't have the charisma he used to have. Not to mention frequent personal issues that don't help curry favor with Vince.

I’ve always thought the same thing his figures always sell extremely well regardless of what his role is on tv. Jeff is definitely slower then he used to be but he is still more over then most of the roster and that’s without the slightest help of a push from Vince. While he’s never going to be as charismatic they should not treat a legend as a jobber like he has been recently. One more good run would be great!

Quick question, would you consider him one of the most over guys in wrestling over the last 25 or so years?

It's hard to say he's not...but he's got plenty of company in the category. I'd say he's not as over *within WWE* as much as he always has been with his huge fan base.
But man, the Hardys return at WM 33 was one of my favorite moments in the past 10 years.

No reason if Goldberg is in the main event picture that a top star like Jeff Hardy couldn't be, regardless of his slowing. It's just poor booking!

I'd be up for this too but then the chorus of "AEW picking up WWE's released stars" would go on and on. Hopefully this spike in wrestling excitement just sends both creative teams through the roof so they can start making better decisions and see who should look strong / who shouldnt!
