4 man booths are WAY too much, but if the trade off is Punk I’ll happily take it okay but just imagine a 4 man booth with 3 count + tank Stepped out to smoke a cigarette after just thinking about this.

I'll be there live for Grand Slam. Never seen Omega, Danielson, or Punk live. SO EXCITE.

I felt the biggest miss was Cody's segment, felt a bit out of place. If you want to bring Rosario Dawson in and be intimidated by Malakai while he runs down Codes, cool. Didn't need to escalate to her getting physical. And why have Cody make his return tonight, with a brawl nonetheless? We had a couple pull-aparts to set up their first match. And that thought was affirmed with the same skirmish with Suzuki-gun and Mox/Eddie that had much better heat. Quit overlapping story points.
Get Rhodes an interview spot on Rampage, all that was needed from him to set up the rematch.
I got scared when they said a second hour was being added to next week's Rampage, but the Grand Slam card so far got me feeling tingly.

I don't know what I'm more excited for between Omega/Bryan or Cole&Bucks/JE&Christian, glad I don't have to pick.
I can't believe how good Darby is,the guy made me enjoy a Spears match.
It was so many people on the show tonight that I'm not a big fan of(Spears,Hager,Bunny,FTR,ATT etc)but I still loved the episode and didn't want to miss a second.

I’m so glad they’re getting a little run out of the Suzuki road trip. He’s the guy that got me into NJPW (alongside Ishii) and it’s so cool to see him on American tv getting to see suzuki live is one of my favorite wrestling moments

(You lucky bastard)

I think there needs to be a distinction made for people that will only come in an AEW thread to crap on AEW versus those that mean no harm in that way and only offer fair criticisms for the most part. I'm a huge fan of AEW and I'll be attending my second event by them in October but I will not hold back in criticizing stuff I don't like or stuff I find underwhelming. I'm by no means a partisan hack and for the most part you guys have treated me fairly in my criticisms. I've posted in Dynamite threads often and I've seen my fair share of uncharitable guys who come in only to make remarks against what they perceive as bush league. It's stupid. That stuff can go away. I do appreciate it when discussions can be had like the ones about 2point0 or whatever else goes on. That is fair and fun and makes threadheading worthwhile. You’re definitely in the clear. Happy to have you, bucko!

Ok I haven't followed this whole thread, I've been watching the replay tonight and I felt compelled to post that I HUGGIN LOVE WRESTLING
AEW is on FIRE
Let me mark out for a bit
The match-ups are FRESH - Cole/Kaz, FTR/Dante/Matt (omg does gravity not apply to Dante?) And mad respect for brining back the Midnight Express tights
All the builds to grand slam week next week were on point - very smart to do MJF live and record Pillman Jr. Just great production all around
The vignettes were on point - Andrade as "Kingpin" *chef's kiss*
Jade might be green as ever but she oozes superstar - she's the Lex Luger of this women's division.
I got chills whenever I hear a live audience sing Judas
Punk on commentary is poetry in motion
Then there's Sean Spears...yeah nice guy, but well he's not it. Darby is solidified and it's a dream to see Sting taking bumps at 61. Tully/Sting in 2021 unreal
Danielson vs Omega hot damn!
And what's crazy is that this is just the tip of the iceberg for talent on the roster and on these shows
AEW is pure FIRE right now

Fak I was so excited I just jumped on to post after that excellent hype promo between Omega & Bryan that I forgot there's still a main event! If that doesn't show how exciting it is to watch a 2 hour wrestling show again! WOOOOOOO!
Miro is doing the best work of his career!

I do appreciate it when discussions can be had like the ones about 2point0 or whatever else goes on. That is fair and fun and makes threadheading worthwhile. aside from (mostly) controversial maverick punk, i love p much everyone that chooses to threadhead/post here. i don't necessarily think anyone was dogging on kody (or anyone else for that matter) to warrant any kind of 'aew marks blahblah' type post, it was moreso just the way that it was originally worded that caused a disagreement or clash. personally, i just tried to meme on it in good fun and i'd like to think he understood by his follow-up post. even if we have different opinions towards certain things, i'd hope that everyone enjoys themselves here. while we have our loyals that are always on time and ready to go boom on wednesdays, i don't think a single person has ever gone without voicing their displeasure(s) in some way or another. i hope we keep this overall trend up for a long time coming. dynamite is already fun enough, but whether you're watching alone or not, talking to other like-minded folks on here that also enjoy it makes it even better, at least to me. if i could break kayfabe for a second, i like a lot of people that aren't even in the band.

if i don't get tk (on a chopper) challenging vkm to a ppv match, then none of this was ever worth it.

if 3/4 count doesn't have AT LEAST this kind of energy when we inevitably meet up at a ppv, then you can all fast forward to my suga shane world championship run instead. continue ftw and i ain't even a philly boi.

u AEW marks get ur panties so up in a bunch. Dude i watch RAW every week. And i know RAW sucks. Dynamite was good. I liked this episode. U are allowed to say things that u didn't like about an AEW show u know. i dont get this weird anti AEW criticism thing. I LIKE AEW wth. I watch it every week Trying to claim Minoru Suzuki is a nobody isn't criticism though. "I don't like Suzuki and I don't think enough people who watch know him to end the show with him" that's criticism and a fair opinion to have. "Who is this nobody" when a 15k crowd is going crazy for him is not criticism. Nobody here minds criticism. We all have things we don't like, even me. It's the consistency of it that should be questioned. For example everyone in here rags on WWE for being "Sports Entertainment." We want wrestling in AEW. And then tonight we literally have a Hollywood actress at ringside who gets thrown into the Cody - Black feud. Her involvement is completely unnecessary, yet there she is. She doesn't even act like she's worried about Black in the slightest. She gets around the guard rail and jumps on Aleister Black's back. WTF is going on here? Why is a Hollywood actress attacking one of the newest, hottest stars in the company? Why does anyone give a sh*t (I'm saying sh*t in honour of tonight's episode) about Cody coming back to save Rosario Dawson? The entire thing made no sense, it didn't do anything to forward the feud, and was very much like something you'd see on Monday Night Raw. Why aren't there 2 pages of people vomiting on that segment? It deserves it. Based on people's apparent views, it deserves it. Not only were people not vomiting on it, they were actually praising it. Happy that a female movie "star" showed up on AEW and fearlessly attacked Aleister Black. That deserves hell. Where is it? Where is the consistency of the criticism?
