Haha nice to see everyone hated the Rosario/Malakai/Cody thing as much as I did. It started off so promising and then quickly devolved into a mess. Cody's good and all but man everything he touches ends up rubbing me wrong (probably the residual effects of that Penta match). Kind of wish he took a couple more months off tbh. I don't think he'll win next week, but oh boy if he does. At least I'll be able to take solace in the entertainment that will be reading the reaction afterwards lol That is one problem I have, is he keeps being gone just a few weeks. First with Brodie, then QT and now this. I feel like if you are gonna go away, then go away. Its one of those things that drives me nuts, and is probably part of peoples problems with Cody. He got a lot of Boos last night from the live crowd. A lot of cheers but a lot of boos too. More than any other babyface that night other than Kazarian. |

Black is kind of a weird amalgamation of other guys AEW has signed. A little bit Miro, a little bit Punk, a little Bryan, and if they add Bray Wyatt, he's probably going to be overshadowed as the bizarre creepy guy. I'm not saying it's not going to work out for him, but I just don't think he's carving out anything special so far. Maybe a lot of that has to do with this Cody feud not really having any legs. Cody retires every ten minutes, and nobody cares. I say that as a Cody fan, but it's not like Cody as a babyface is setting the world on fire. I absolutely love Rosario Dawson, though.
Adam Cole's attire is incredible. Can't wait for that figure. I love him doing six man's with the Bucks, and I think he's going to have a killer match with Jungle Boy.
I hope they find a work around for the Bryan match. Kenny doesn't need to be taking another L unless he's losing the title.
It's a little bit ironic that Leyla Hirsch is becoming a star when they've largely used her to prop up women with much less talent.
Props to Sting for taking that piledriver.
The Dan Lambert thing needs to get to where it's going. I still don't understand what he has to do with Scorpio and Ego, and they've done a horrible job explaining it. Last night was cringe imo. Hager at least makes sense for the feud.
MJF is on absolute fire right now.

The match-ups are FRESH - Cole/Kaz, FTR/Dante/Matt (omg does gravity not apply to Dante?) And mad respect for brining back the Midnight Express tights I feel like Dante has anti-gravity abilities but during matches he occasionally forgets to suppress them and starts floating around. He's been great to watch. |

#1 on cable again. .44 which was .04 over the nearest Wednesday competitor. Well deserved, and I expect next week to do a very excellent number.

Its easy to say "just enjoy the ride" now...But I was enjoying the ride in 1996 (and earlier) too...I didnt enjoy it in 2001 (not saying that will be the ultimate outcome) |

Cody isnt on my list of favorites on the roster but he's no where near Hager level of bad for me either but I do think him being in feud with Black pretty much since his debut has took away a lot of the excitement that Black had when he first got here. Hopefully him destroying Cody next week and moving on to a fresh match up will get him back on track. Wouldn't mind seeing him enter a little feud with OC and please get rid of that paint.
