The last couple of months I feel like the focus has been, in the pro wrestling world, on AEW, but WWE has had some excitement in 2021. The move to Peacock was really big, and before Big E's Title win, Lashley's was pretty big back in the spring. 'Mania was a pretty good show too. What WWE occurrences in 2021 have stood out the most to you?

The move to Peacock sucked, I miss the Network.
For me its Banks/Belair at Mania and Roman’s run throughout the year.
Those are really the only two things to me that happened this year that haven’t felt rushed due to a need to respond to competition gaining buzz worthy attention or just flat out awfully booked storylines.
Edit: You know what, throw RK-Bro in there as well, something organic that wasn’t supposed to be more than a one week feud has turned into the best thing on Raw.

Lacey Evans announcing she is pregnant in the middle of a match with Charlotte and insinuating that Ric Flair is the father. WHOOOOO!!!!!

Lashley winning the big one. An all timer Wrestlemania with two insane main events. Big E’s win. Roman’s run. Sami Zayn in general. Ciampa winning Goldie back. Edge winning the Rumble from number 1. Christian returning to the ring. WALTER vs Ilja. Alex Zayne on WWE tv. Kyle vs Finn 2. Bad Bunny surprising everyone.
More I’ll add later when I have time to reflect.

Fans coming back is, by far, the most important thing to me.
Past that, show wise WM, MITB, SummerSlam were all good/great shows to me.
Individually, Roman has been stellar.
Edge continues to impress me. His attires have been masterful. The Brood mini entrance ruled.
Seth has been fantastic. I love his sleeze ball character. I don’t watch week to week 90% of the time but I try to stay current but I know I’m leaving out some great talent. On the flip side, what’s stood out the most is who’s no longer with them. It’s another conversation on their competition and who now works for them.. but it’s been massive. Time will tell on how this new “war” will play out

Sadly for WWE, I can't really think of any moments that stand out for me this year.
However, when it comes to AEW I can think of way too many.

Orton burying The Fiend at Mania. It doesn't stand out in a good way.

Releasing Aleister Black with a 30 day no compete clause by accident and then calling Buddy Murphy in a panic about it because they forgot who they gave it to. The absurdity of it all makes it stand out in my mind.

That ain't even a joke I'm dead serious. I like to think that was supposed to cut off much earlier but they knew they had gold so they just kept the camera on him.

Getting fans back was definitely great, and I forgot about SummerSlam. Some really good returns, and an outstanding Rollins/Edge match.

Something you may never again see in WWE, a black man pinning a black man to win the WWE Championship.
That is something that is a HUGE deal, but not many people are talking about how big of a deal that really is.

All have been very excellent.

Sheamus has been great
Roman and the Bloodline are probably the best thing in wrestling, even though I can’t see past Jimmy Uso being a drunken menace to society behind the wheel and immediately being rewarded with tag titles.
Lashley and MVP have been gold. The Hurt Business was awesome.
All of the odd back-office moves and bungles that have plagued this year. Just very odd.
Probably the best thing, the end of that godawful Thunderdome. I HATED the Thunderdome.
That’s really about all that I’ll remember about this year.
