I'd attend an AEW UK PPV.

If it happens, which I really hope it does, then hell yeah I'll go all out to get me and my cousin tickets! It's long overdue so fingers crossed!

It'd be hard to see it happening, considering so much of WWE is about the 'bottom line' and money is the make or break for most things. If they reckon they could charge an arm and a leg on ticket prices, and Americans would still buy it on PPV (though I suppose that's less of a concern now, as i believe the network has all the PPV's and is subscription based, rather than relying on one-off buys?) then it'd possibly happen though.
Wouldn't be the same atmosphere though. Before/After comparisons would make 2022's product look really poor.

Unless they have a drastic 180 degree turn with their programming between now and then, no. It would have been cool 5 or 6 years ago when their product was still reasonably watchable. I'd buy a front row seat to an AEW PPV in a heartbeat though.

AEW are clearly going to do it at some point, so I think once that starts heating up, we'll end up with a sudden announcement by WWE to try and beat them to the punch.

Also booked a flight from Newcastle to Bristol for £50. Looking at various options to get to and from Cardiff. Hire car is more expensive than just getting an Uber direct! Contemplating getting the bus from airport to Bristol and then it's £50 for an Uber and same on the return. Still works out cheaper than a train and will only take 1 hour 40 rather than 6 + hours on a train.
How long does the bus take to get to Cardiff from Bristol?
Glad I also snapped up a hotel in advance, paid £41 for the night, it's now sold out and most hotels are at least £200 +

Would like to go but Cardiff doesn't seem as straightforward or cheap to get to as other places in the UK from Ireland Will looks into options but accomodation pricy now too!

If I get ticket I will porbably train it to cardiff then after the event spend all night out in bars and when they close mcdonalds as they are open 24 hours, until I can get first train back the next day at around 9am. Who needs a hotel.

Stickied this thread as the official one for the event.
So who got tickets? I just bought 3 for £282 each in block L7. Outside of ringside this area is probably next best for an unrestricted but closer view. Gonna be going down with a couple of friends.

Got 3 tickets at £40 each but way up in the gods. The seats I wanted were lower bowl facing the ring but I just can’t justify £200-300+ a ticket at the moment.
Will see if anything more affordable becomes available with the general release. Excited to just have tickets to go though, should be a blast.

Got 5 x £225 tickets, flights and hotel today. We're slipping into the weddings/houses/kids phases of our lives so we said if we don't it now, we never will.

I didn't get an email at all and only knew the pre-sale pass code 'cos I saw it on an Instagram post late last night. Booked a motel 45 minutes outside Cardiff, near Raglan. Only £40 a room. Bargain compared to the city centre prices.

So I guess Rebellion and Insurrection were always kind of C PPVs, where the matches weren't even built up to on TV. But Clash at the Castle looks to be a legit PPV, so I'm happy for the UK.

I’m in the uppers. Was planning on mid level but didn’t expect the prices to be higher than WrestleMania!

So who got tickets? We're in the £300 seats because they were similar to our Mania seats this year and my GF likes to be elevated but not too far away.

I would've at least looked into this if it had been at Wembley, but Cardiff?... Not interested - and definitely not at those extortionate prices. Well the email went to my spam folder so I had no idea about this. That's just ing great. I didn't think you'd be all that bothered, considering your reply to the initial question of "would you attend a WWE UK PPV": I'd attend an AEW UK PPV. I guess you'll have to wait a bit longer. So who got tickets? We're in the £300 seats because they were similar to our Mania seats this year and my GF likes to be elevated but not too far away. £300 for a ticket to a wrestling show... What ing world are we living in? And I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere
