I believe there was a Natty fig that was supposed to be a Walgreens exclusive that never came out. Was that the Nat they came out in the same wave as her dad maybe e74? I might be just remembering it wrong but I thought the Naomi elite was suppose to be a Walgreens exclusive too before she got move to the main line. pretty sure it was a different fig that got released in the main line *yeah completely different  |

Oh wow, I missed that there was going to be an Entrance Greats Asuka. I wonder if that was the same one later planned for the Mania Axxess weekend exclusive, that ended up being, sans robe, the Network Spotlight figure. I would have loved an Entrance Greats Asuka. I still want to someday get ahold of the Bobby Roode one. I already have Elias.
It took me a while to appreciate that the EG Bobby Roode I got for $9 on clearance at Target is, to this day, the only robed Bobby Roode they've put out. |

They we're working on a DM that ended up being cancelled and replaced by Ministry Taker that everybody thought was Owen Hart or Goldberg. I still wanna know what fig that was supposed to be. Only clue we have is that they thought they had the rights to make it but it fell through or something like that. IIRC, around the same time there was a Owen Hart DVD/blu-ray that was being released and reports that made it appear that Martha was coming around, which was eventually squashed (whether they fell through or were never in the works who knows). I would think that Mattel wouldn't start work or make plans on Owen without getting the greenlight from WWE, but it's not like WWE has ever messed up before or got info wrong on contracts (not knowing Adam Cole's real contract expiration date). Slammy awards were also released after this - I still believe they were planning that for a bigger release (like Owen) instead of releasing them as a chase, but that is all speculation that I expect would never be addressed or would be denied (even if it was true) |
