I’ve never really been around leaks that much and don’t know about the false ones. Could you guys Name off a couple imof instances were leaks have been false

nothing beats hankman's fake leak/rumor:
"Red Rooster isn't coming out but luckily I have one for sale for only $700. Act fast!"
Then Red Rooster was available for pre-order on Target's site a few weeks later.

I wanna tack on to this question because it falls in the same area
Besides Legends Sting and Hollywood Hogan, NXT Hideo, Roddy, Titus, Elite 44? Koko B Ware, Elite 92 Cole and Fiend, what are some times we got renders or announced figures but then they didn’t happen
I only know about those few and was curious if there were more

Most of the "leaks" that don't turn out to be true are just are placeholder lineups, outdated lineups or just straight up fake.

I recall rumors of a Von Erich 2 pack a few years ago...Still hoping we get another Kerry & Kevin eventually... We were supposed to get Kerry in new legends series too that rumour was going around for a bit. |

Most recently a “leak” about ultimate editions of Razor, Luger, Bulldog, and Tatanka. Somehow people actually believed Mattel would give Tatanka the ultimate treatment until Steve had to officially debunk it.

Which was dumb cuz when u saw the photo, if u had any brain cells...u knew that it was just someone's fixup mashing the previous texas tornado and kerry figures together
