We all rightly criticized Mattel for all the distribution issues.
But I want to come here to praise them for the amazing job they've done turning this around.
Figures in stores, and online (cancellations are not Mattel's fault).
And they've done it all during a global pandemic that's seen the worst shipping problems in modern decades.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t bought a single figure in store in about 3-4 years. It’s just not worth the time... the other day I casually went to the figure aisle at Target and was surprised to see a Kane basic on the shelf. So they’re probably improving distribution.

Lucky you. Here in Canada it seems to be worse than it's ever been. My Walmart has a few Elite 74 AJ Styles and that's it.

Based on what I see in the figure findings and my personal experiences, it seems to be A LOT better than it was just a few months ago. Stores seem to be getting stock for frequently, and there are some Walmart’s that are getting 5+ cases at a time.

Idk why but my area is cursed with Summer Slam elites. Every year we go months without new elites on shelves until the Summer Slam wave and then they stock a ton if it and nothing else for 6 months. It happened with the Mabel wave, the Elizabeth wave and now this one.

More like praise for distribution, for a lack of quality control.
Sure.

More stock could be just the time of year leading up to the holidays and also something interesting I read in a Facebook group was that due to lack of staff Mattel reps were going to stores and stocking their products from the back. Not sure how many stores this includes but it would definitely be a big difference in stocking and ordering.

I wouldn’t say things have gotten much better around here, but I did pick up an Ultimate Cena in my local Target last night, which is the first time I’ve seen any Ultimates in a Staten Island store since a lone Rhonda when series one came out.

Product is much more prevalent in my area in the past few months. Walmart getting 3 to 4 cases of elites at a time now. Same with basics and 2 packs. Target is still hit or miss but they have been having more on shelves. It sits longer at Target as they are typically 2 series behind Walmart with their releases. Most people looking already got them months prior at Walmart except for exclusives.

Although I haven’t seen anything to purchase I will say most targets and Walmart’s I’ve been to in my area have been very nicely stocked lately. Especially Walmart’s.

ive noticed a slight bump in stock being far more available lately. which should be the norm. the fact we have to get excited there stocking there products for us to buy shouldne even be a thing..lol. but here we are... but im glad to see stuff coming back in stock or being stocked for a good amount of time.. but target and walmart still have plenty of room for improvement online and in-store.
