How do running orders work? If I order the Ultimate Edition Kane figure from RSC right now will it be the one with the fixed up elbow and mask? Also, does Mattel issue these running changes sparingly or is it a frequent thing?
I’m hoping the change doesn’t just apply to retail in stores, right?

The Kanes Ringside currently has in stock do not feature the fixed arm or masks as those parts are still in production.

Typically they do 2 production runs per wave. If they need too, they can make a change for the second

I think if you were to order it right now, you would be getting the figure with the paint issue and receive the replacement parts from ringside whenever they receive them.

The next set of figs leaving the factory will have the corrected parts. With how delayed and backed up overseas shipping is, I wouldn’t expect to see these hit RSC and other retailers until 2022.
