Hi all. For anyone curious, like I was, this is the head that is under the retro Mankind mask. Since this isn't a Mick scan, does anyone recognize it? Is it Bossman? Really surprised why Mattel used someone else for the head. Also, not thrilled with this Championship Showdown True FX application.  |

Looks like Austin to me. Iβll be honest, itβs probably Mick, but I donβt even think of some the retros are headscanned. Theyβre cartoony, so I imagine Mattel just wants the base look of the person. The Goldberg retro is another example. I also believe that Mattel rescales some of their elites to retros too.

It looks like a cartoon version of Foley to me. None of the retros really look like who they're supposed to be.

It could simply be a generic male head with goatee. No need to waste time and money on a scan if it's hiding under a mask.

The one on the right really looks like Foley to me. I know they're the same, but the one on the left doesn't! Can't figure out what it is

I've said it before: I don't think True FX is this fantastic upgrade that some people seem to think it is... there are far too many misprints and applications that make a figure look strange (eg. "Ken doll" Scott Hall). And a lot of the time, it can just look too heavy-handed in general (eg. the recent SS Hogan - who looks as though he's been eating charcoal or something π¬). |

Got it -- I thought you ripped two off, and they both looked different because of how the mask came off or something...
You're correct -- the one on the right looks nothing like Foley
