So last week I was approved for my first credit card in over a decade and it arrived today. I decided the best way to build my credit is to start collecting a line of figures that would take me a while to complete. Debating on a MOC Ultimate line or a MOC Hasbro collection but stumbled across a Valentine and Wonderful at my local comic shop so decided Legends it is. I already had the DDP figure luckily. Going to try and stick with the main line for now, knowing that older figures are going for ridiculous prices so it’ll take some time before I need to move on to 2 packs or exclusives. I’ll update the thread as I build. Also if someone can point me in the direction of the best cases for the old and the current I’d appreciate it.

Good choice! 👍 I’m selling off a lot of mine to focus on Legends. Still sticking to Golden and New Gen eras though Here’s mine:

Very nice! It gets quite addicting for sure! Good choice! 👍 I’m selling off a lot of mine to focus on Legends. Still sticking to Golden and New Gen eras though Here’s mine: I've actually been thinking about selling off all of my other figures in order to start getting Legends 1 through 6. Was it hard parting with what you sold?

seeing stuff like this makes me incredibly happy i was "all in" with mattel from the start and have every Legends figure (loose)
and also makes me regret not having the foresight to buy 2 of everyone

Nice purchases, but how did you go 10 years without a credit card?

Make sure you don't spend more than 30% of your limit, if possible. 50% is another benchmark, but your score will be higher if you keep it under 30. I would recommend the credit karma app to monitor your credit- it's free and they give you helpful information on how to build your credit.

Nice purchases, but how did you go 10 years without a credit card? Because when I was 20 I WRECKED my credit and then continued to for years. Didn’t expect to be around this long so didn’t think it mattered.

Between the card, loans, and car payment I’m already building up nicely.

I am very glad to hear you are in a better place and expect to be around!

Love the Legends line. Wish it had better availability for European collectors.

Nice start! I love the Legends line - my favourite after the Ultimate line.
I've never had a credit card - but they're not something that everyone has in the UK. We all use debit cards.
