Series 13 is the weakest set yet imo. The only one I kinda want is hhh and that’s only because of the dx army Hurricane should have been in the regular elite line since it’s a more modern look for him. Should have put the recent warlord in this line instead Eh, it's a 13-year-old look. Don't get me wrong, Helms could have fit as a regular Elite flashback as well, but I definitely don't think the look was too modern for the line. |

Bret hart was retired for 4 years when his Jakks CS1 figure came out. |

I think the Legends line should be 2002 and before. I think 20 years is fine….Not sure when Hurricane was in WWE but it was around that time. Having Cena in the line was a mistake. Warlord & Kama should have been in the legends line since they don’t have that many guys under legends deals.

I think it's cool to debate/read the criteria for what everyone's own personal opinion feels the Legend line should be (especially since it is always slow around this time of year), but it's clear that the "Legends" term just means past wrestling alumni and current part timers like Cena/Edge/Goldberg. I'm sure there is some criteria (such as X amount of years in the business, accomplishments, popularity, etc.) that Mattel uses as a guide, but they aren't going to further restrict their options just because somebody wrestled 15 years ago vs. 20 years ago.
It's branding/marketing/another channel to get more figures out. It's no different than "Defining Moments" (were they all THEE defining moment of that particular wrestler's career), "Epic Moments" (were they all "epic") or Ultimate Edition (are they all really Ultimate in the sense that you'll never need another figure of that particular wrestler ever again) debates.
I'm not sure why people are getting hung up on the terminology, especially since everyone's perception on what a legend, defining moment, epic moment and ultimate are going to differ.
I do wish that they would have saved some of the FTIL for the Legends line, but considering how small that number has been and the figures released in the past year (Hayes, Moolah, Goon, Strongbow), the line would have probably been cancelled again. I agree that CE like Kama, POP Warlod, BB DBS would have been great in the Legends line, but they were probably already slotted before Mattel knew how successful the line would be.

I can honestly say this is the easiest of all the exclusives to find. I’ve seen multiples of every wave so many times. Credit to Target for actually sticking their lines. Walmart on the other hand.

I had pretty good success with them all up until 11. Which of course had the Macho Man figure I wanted more than any of the other ones so far. Never saw it, or any other of 11. Had to get Bam Bam at a comic/collectibles shop, and my girl got me Macho for Christmas. |

Yes, Macho Man and Warrior are always the hardest figures to find unless it’s a figure like L8 Warrior (non-wrestling attire). Hogan might be like this as well but it’s hard to say because he’s not had many figures under Mattel yet |
