What are everyones thoughts on New Jack? Personally I thought he was garbage in and out of the ring, just an unrepentant murderous bunghole.

He made you scared, but not in a kayfabe sense, but more so in that the guy literally pulled out a knife and stabbed a wrestler in the ring once. Multiple times! And then had to put pressure on the guy so he wouldn't bleed out while help came for him.
I know there are wrestlers in the business that will say, "New Jack was the nicest guy to me" and maybe so. But I was not a fan. I didn't do the "R.I.P. New Jack" when he passed. Because to me, he wasn't a good person.
Drugs ruined that man, but you can't help but think his brain was already messed up before the drugs with the stuff he did in the ring to people. Trying to kill Vic Grimes, beating up Gypsy Joe who was like 80 years old.
No thank you, to New Jack. His matches were garbage, he had no art to what he did. If you have an issue with the guy you are in a ring with, you don't take a knife and stab him multiple times with it. Common sense tells ya that!

I wasn’t a fan. I would have loved to see him in WWE though because I don’t think there is a single time line where there is a WWE version of New Jack lol. What would that have even looked like

I mean, as an ECW original he had his place there, but ECW arguably never had a place in wrestling
his disregard for his opponents needs to be noted though. needlessly violent and a damaged person.

I got flamed on another board for not being upset he passed. This guy was a huge jerk, piece of crap who would seriously hurt and nearly kill any person and even on this board for any reason. He lucked out signing with a promoter who is also a piece of crap who doesn't care about any human being but himself and the million dollar cash cow he has leeched off of almost 20 years ago (Brock Lesnar). If a guy like New Jack/Jerome Young existed in any other profession other than wrestling and did what he did to other human beings he would be in prison/jail. This piece of crap should have lived the rest of his life behind bars but unfortunately he passed away too soon for that to happen.

Then he jumps off onto to Cena who is set up on the second tier some way down (not at the bottom though). Cena moves out of the way though so Jack misses & crashes through the table. John then gives New Jack a FU/AA from the middle structure to the bottom of the stage where a table is set up and their is a hidden crash pad underneath. Carlito would have been there at the bottom begging Cena not to do it. New Jack then fails to answer the ten count and Cena wins. And thus that was New Jacks one and done apperance in WWE |
