Not gonna lie. I cackled.
That said, I kind of wish I knew how to customize MOC stuff because I really want a Jeff Harvey figure.

Picked up Nakamura from Amazon as I saw he was starting to go up in price. Honestly, don’t get all the hate this figure gets. It looks phenomenal, and I’m not a big Shinsuke fan. If you’re going to own a Nakamura, this should be the one you go with.

I don't think the issue was with the quality of the figure, it was the fact that bill was shoving Nakamura down our throats and he didn't deserve the attention he got as he has done nothing significant to warrant a defining moment and an ultimate release.

Judging by the timeline we know, at the time the lineups were finalized, Nakamura made a lot of sense to be in the Ultimate line. By the time the figure came out, not so much, but unless Bill is booking WWE, I don't think that's on him.

With the Defining Moments they knew the first Nakamura would be higher in demand so they went with the higher price point. Issue was with the Ultimate is that by that point Shinsuke already had so many figures. Had his booking that year gone differently, it might have been more sought after. Still, I’d say winning the Royal Rumble should warrant a big figure release.

Still, I’d say winning the Royal Rumble should warrant a big figure release. Eh, at the time that the lineups for the first Ultimate series were set, Nakamura had been pushed to the moon by WWE, was heavily protected and promoted in NXT, was called up to to the main roster and kept exclusively in the upper mid-card for 8 months, was booked to win the Royal Rumble last eliminating Roman Reigns, then at WrestleMania 34 wrestled AJ for the WWE title. Plus, at that point he was vey popular with both mainstream WWE fans and smarky fans, and because of his move-set, mannerisms, and what-have-you, he was one of the few (at the time) main-eventers on the modern roster with whom Mattel could really use the articulation, multiple hands and facial expressions gimmick. And on top of that, he had the full -sleeve jacket to include the arm-gimmick as well. So yeah, at that point his inclusion at that time actually makes total sense even if someone doesn't like him (the irony of this is I'm not a big Nakamura fan, either in Japan or the US) Of course, following WrestleMania 34, WWE booked him into oblivion and by the time the figure came out, interest had died out thanks to piss-poor booking.

Not too sure of the time frame of Nakamura's popularity to justify his Defining Moments and Ultimate figure, but I do remember him being 1 of the most custom made figures made next to Jeff Hardy before they both got Mattel figures. I think it's a great figure, just not for me.

Bill & Nakamura would be like me with Bliss/Flair if I ran the line. You'd have every outfit, ever color and every look possible dont care if it bankrupts Mattel or not.

I love the Ultimate Nakamura. I got it on clearance for around $20, and if I had to pick, it might be my favorite "underrated/unappreciated" figure. Nakamura is definitely a character you need the added articulation for. I love that I'm able to have a dynamically posed Nakamura on my shelf, and the head sculpts/scans have never been better than these ones, in my opinion.

I just hope one day we get a Jeff Jarrett UE with light up glasses and hat. While I wouldn’t be against it, not exactly something I’d be super excited to get. Obviously I’d buy it but it would be up there with the Alexa figure in terms of “I only have this to because I’m collecting all these figures.”

Not too sure of the time frame of Nakamura's popularity to justify his Defining Moments and Ultimate figure, but I do remember him being 1 of the most custom made figures made next to Jeff Hardy before they both got Mattel figures. I think it's a great figure, just not for me. His Defining Moments was pretty early in his WWE run -- not sure if it was released while he was still in NXT, but it wouldn't have been long after he hit the main roster. Them deciding on an Ultimate Edition for him probably coincides with his Rumble win, and his depush following that Mania doesn't really make a lot of sense. It seemed like an obvious thing at the time that he'd beat AJ for the title, since AJ was already well-established as a major guy and you'd be making another top guy while not hurting AJ at all. Obviously, that didn't happen.
Also, Shinsuke Nakamura is a legit legend who's in the Observer HoF, which is not an easy feat. People are downplaying how he was treated like the biggest thing in the world his entire NXT run, and how his main roster debut through his Rumble win suggested he was going to be a top level guy on Smackdown like he's been everywhere else in his career. The idea that a guy with the career he's had doesn't deserve good quality figures is just ridiculous.

Charlotte arrived today from the bay and holy hell this is such a well done figure. I wish it had been her Wrestlemania 35 attire to go with Becky but still, amazing detail. Even came with a protector case.
