Wrestlemania 8
Hogan beats Ric Flair for the belt.
Summer 92
Hogan attacked by A new stable - the Million Dollar Corporation, consisting of DiBiase, Flair, Perfect, IRS, Jacques Rougeau and Haku. Hogan suffers bad leg ‘injury’.
Summerslam 92
Flair pins Hogan for the belt after Hulk passes out in a figure four.
Hogan disappears for filming
Survivor Series 92
Hogan brought back as part of a team of former champions to face a ‘dark’ team.
Savage, Warrior, Hogan, Slaughter and Beefcake (brought in in place of Backlund) vs Undertaker, Sid, Jake Roberts, Papa Shango and Giant Gonzalez.
Hogan is counted out after being knocked out by Gonzalez’s devastating new move, a chop to the side of the neck. Gonzalez continues the assault on Hogan, getting counted out in the process.
Gonzalez, managed by Jake, vows to finish Hulkamania for good.
Royal Rumble 93
Gonzalez eliminates Hulk and clears the ring, leaving only himself and Bret Hart (somewhere in the middle of the match). GG is close to eliminating (eventual winner) Bret Hart, when Hogan sneaks back in and tips GG over the top rope and ends GG’s chance of headlining WM9.
Hogan enlists Backlund to help train him for the now confirmed WM9 match v Gonzalez
WM9
Hogan W/ Backlund defeats Gonzalez W/ Jake.
Post WM Raw
Hogan interviewed. Backlund accompanies him and attacks him, applying the chicken wing. Hogan out for months with a shoulder ‘injury’.
Backlund explains he was never given a rematch for the belt when he lost it in 83 and says Hogan chickened out of given him a match.
Backlund wins King of the Ring. Challenges Hogan to a match.
Summerslam 93
Hogan defeats Backlund in what could be Hogan’s last match.
In the main event, Hogan accompanies Bret Hart to the ring for his match with Million Dollar Corporation representative, the Great Muta. Hogan counteracts the interference of MDC members, allowing Bret to take the win. Hogan celebrates with Bret, giving his endorsement of Hart as the undisputed champion and leader of the new generation.
Obviously there is a lot of assumptions and various threads running through my booking of Hogan. I’m writing a newsletter style booking of the WWF in this era and this is how Hogan would pan out.

I know it would be seen as a "step back" but Id love for Hogan to get a partner and gotten a tag title run between World title reigns. Brutus wasnt cleared yet...Macho and/or Warrior might have been "too powerful" of a team but maybe something like Hogan & Duggan to raise Duggans stock a little. Or even do it as a special event thing and bring in Inoki.

Simple really....
Wrestlemania IX Hogan and Beefcake should have won the Tag Titles.
Hell, if Bret was gonna lose to Yoko, have that match be in the middle of the show, and have the WWF Tag Title match between the Mega Maniacs vs. Money Inc. be the main event and have Hogan and Beefcake win the Tag Titles.
Then the WWF could have ran two separate house shows on the same day, with Bret vs. Yoko as one main event and Maniacs vs. Money Inc. as the other main event.

For me, Hogan was kinda losing his luster in ‘92 and definitely by ‘93. I don’t think there is an alternate reality where I would change Hogans trajectory through the 90’s but for the sake of conversation it would have been interesting to see his heel turn happen in WWF rather than WCW. (I don’t think it would have been anywhere near as big or as good as the nWo was but interesting to think about none the less)
-At the 92 Rumble when Hogan dumps Sid in what looked like a heel move anyway, I would have this start Hogans decent into insecurity and going heel.
-Savage wins 92 Rumble instead of Flair and becomes World Champion
-Hogan shows shades of being heel by declaring Savage owes him a match at WrestleMania for the title since Hogan pulled Sid out and helped Macho win the belt.
-Babyface Macho Man agrees to title match thinking that he does owe Hulk for what can be perceived as Hulk helping a friend win the big one
-Hogan vs Macho Man at WrestleMania 8 for the title
-Hogan defeats Savage at Mania with a controversial move like a low blow or holding the ropes. Hogan resorts to these tactics after having insecurity of losing another babyface vs babyface match at Mania and not wanting to repeat Mania 6. Savage thinking the better man hasn’t won, gets in Hogans face after the match questioning the cheating tactics. Hogan knocks out Randy and goes to the outside, grabs a chair and is about to lay into Savage with a chair (looking at the fans almost unsure as to what he’s about to do)
-Warrior returns at the end of Mania as he did to save Savage, pulling the chair out of Hogans hands and having a stare down with Hogan as a ghost of his past to end the show.
-Warrior vs Hogan for the title at Summerslam 92 in Wembly Stadium
-Warrior cuts promos on how Hogan has turned his back on the Hulkamaniacs and the beliefs of Hulkamania. Hogan cuts promos saying the rules have changed and he’s just changing with them still portraying a babyface.
-Hogan defeats Warrior at Summerslam after receiving aid from Flair & Perfect. It is unknown whether he requested the aid or simply took advantage of it but Hogan celebrates as if the win is a win and pays no mind to the interference. Crowd disapproves
-Hogan does promo saying he would have beaten the Warrior anyway with or without help from Flair. Warrior disputes that the one time he didn’t receive help in their match, he lost and was about to again. Flair agrees that Hogan needs Flair and is coercing Hulk to come on over to his side of the fence.
-Warrior & Savage challenge Hogan & Flair to match at Survivor Series ‘92 where the stipulation is, if Hogan tags in Flair, it’s an admission that Hogan needs him. Hogan states Flair will be on the apron so that he can keep an eye on him and ensure he doesn’t get involved in the match. Flair states he’s there because Hogan needs him to win and will tag him in.
-Survivor Series ‘92 Hogan does a good job of taking on Warrior & Savage alone, eventually goes full heel by tagging in Flair. Crowd is heartbroken when the tag is made, Flair is all smiles. Flair low blows Savage and is DQ’d. Flair tells Hogan to get use to the idea of losing a battle to win a war.
-In the weeks leading up to the 93 Rumble, Hogan continues his descent into the dark-side almost unwillingly at first but now this is what he must do to be WWF Champion. The Hulkamaniacs don’t understand that the rules had changed and the old ways didn’t work no more. The Hulkamaniacs would have killed Hulkamania had it not been for Hogan because they were unwilling to go along with what was necessary.
- Royal Rumble 93, Bret Hart wins the Rumble match. Bret is on a roll winning matches all throughout late ‘92 and ‘93
-Royal Rumble 93, Hogan vs Flair. Flair declares in lead up that Hogan owes him one and that Hogan would be nowhere without Flairs help. Flair insists that Hogan lie down in the middle of the ring at the Rumble and hand over the title as a thank you for Flairs help. Hogan states he beat Savage for the belt without Flairs help and Flair argues that he won with a low blow/holding the ropes and where does Hogan think he learned those moves from? Hogan admitted at Survivor Series when he tagged in Flair that he NEEDED Ric Flair.
-Rumble 93, Hogan looks indecisive as to whether he should hand over the title to Flair. Crowd is mixed as to convincing Hulk not to do this and booing his behavior. Hulk eventually lies down for Flair and the crowd boo’s HEAVILY as Flair grins from ear to ear. Jack Tunney comes down to ringside and threatens to call off the match stating that if Hogan refuses to compete against Flair, then he will defend the WWF CHAMPIONSHIP in the Royal Rumble match.
-Match is restarted and Flair is intentionally counted out and it’s picked up on camera with Flair saying “now you owe me, 2 times”. Hogan has a grin on his face as he stares down Flair who is backing away from the ring smiling as well. Fans don’t know if this was all part of the plan. Flair/Hogan storyline is moved to background to be revisited at a later time.
-Lead up to WrestleMania 9 is Bret Hart calling out Hogan for not being a true champion and taking the easy way. Bret claims he’s taken the hard way and earned this title shot, and at WrestleMania 9, he’ll have earned the WWF Championship!
-Hogan claims that Bret is walking a path created by Hogan. Been there done that and it works for a while but eventually good enough isn’t good enough. Not for the fans and not for the WWF Championship.
-WrestleMania 9 is Bret Hart vs Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship. Hart beats Hogan for the belt fair and square, after the match Hogan hands belt to Hart and proceeds to walk back to the back in a babyface move. He is passed by newcomer Yokozuna and watches in the isle way as Yoko hits the ring with Mr Fuji and proceed to beat down Bret Hart. Fans begin to chant for Hogan to make the save & Hogan is looking to the crowd as to what to do. Hogan hits the ring and fights off Fuji and Yoko and helps Bret up to his feet turning Hogan babyface again.
That’s all I got 😅

Wrestlemania 8: Hogan beats Flair. Hennig gets involved and Warrior evens the odds. Summerslam 92: Hogan beats Flair in the rematch.. Survivor Series 92: Hogan/Bret/Macho/Warrior/Hennig beat Flair/Razor/Michaels/Dibiase/IRS. Bret and Hogan are the soul survivors. Royal Rumble: Bret beats Hogan. Passing of the torch Wrestlemania 9: Hogan beats Razor. Gives Razor a higher profile match and Hogan looks good going into the KOTR title match. Doesn’t get involved later in the show. Vince let’s Yoko have his moment. King Of The Ring 93: Yoko beats Hogan clean due to ref stoppage after Yoko drops three leg drops. Hogan written off and Yoko looks stronger.

Wrestlemania 8 plays out the same way.
Hogan disappears.
The End.
It was Hogans last match after all. That's what they told me.

WrestleMania 8: keep things as they were, Warriors return was awesome.
Hogan Takes A Break
Survivor Series 1992: Hogan returns as Savage's teammate for one night only, reuniting the Mega Powers. Hogan pins Flair to finally get this on a big PPV in the WWF. Later Flair and Heenan run down Mr. Perfect because of his lack of involvement in the match. Perfect turns face to set up his feud with Flair.
WrestleMania 9: WrestleMania 9 turns out the same way but, Hogan doesn't win the title at the end of the night. Yoko beats Bret but then begins to attack him after the match. The fans chant for Hogan, Hogan runs out to save the day attacking Yokozuna then poses (because, well, you know).
King of the Ring 93: Hogan challenges Yokozuna for the belt and wins. Bret wins the King of the Ring tournament to become the #1 contender.
Summer Slam 93: Hogan faces Bret for the WWF title, Bret wins then starts a feud with The Narcissist Lex Luger after that. Hogan leaves and eventually signs with WCW.

Both '92 and '93
WM VIII: Hulk Hogan def. Ric Flair (c) for WWF title; Flair still wins the rumble but Sid is eliminated by Taker and Hogan is eliminated by Flair with help from Perfect
Summer Slam: Hulk Hogan (c) def. Ric Flair to retain WWF title; Flair demands a rematch and in the nation's capital loses yet again to the Hulkster
Survivor Series: The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, Bret Hart, and Brutus Beefcake) def. Flair's Pair (Ric Flair, Razor Ramon, Ted DiBiase, and IRS); Bret and Hogan are the survivors with the Mega Powers reuniting to face off against Flair's team.
Rumble: Hulk Hogan (c) def. The Undertaker to retain WWF title; Hulk gets his win back from Survivor Series and we get a definitive end to their feud from '91-'92
WM IX: Bret Hart def. Hulk Hogan (c) for the WWF title; Bret wins the Rumble, faces off Hogan in the biggest main event since Hogan/Andre, and the Hulkster passes the torch for the new generation.
'93-'94
WM IX: Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake) def. Money Inc (Ted DiBiase and IRS) (c) for WWF tag titles; billed as double main event so crowd can go home happy after Yoko beats Bret
Summer Slam: The Headshrinkers (Afa and Sika) def. Mega Maniacs (Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake) (c) for WWF tag titles; Giant Gonzalez interferes and costs Hogan and Beefcake the belts.
Survivor Series: Hulk Hogan def. Giant Gonzalez; classic Hogan match, takes a beating, hulks up, point, boot, leg drop, pose.
Royal Rumble: Hulk Hogan wins Rumble after last eliminating Diesel; Hogan enters at #20 and clears house, eventually big daddy cool becomes a road block but the Hulkster manages to overcome him and wins the rumble for a record breaking third time.
WM X: Hulk Hogan def. Yokozuna (c) for WWF title; for far too long has the wwf title and the usa been disgraced with the mighty Yokozuna as champion, but Hogan won't stand for it and faces off against the big man where not only Wrestlemania began but where Hulkamania began, and just like all those years ago the immortal one beats the champion and takes home the WWF title at MSG.

This is way too Hulkster friendly... Also, you have two things happening at WrestleMania 9, Hulk losing the WWF title to Bret and Hogan & Beefcake winning the titles from Money Inc., seems strange. I also can't see them turning Undertaker face in 1992 then have him lose cleanly to Hogan at Royal Rumble in a baby face match. And in your Survivor Series 92 matchup, Hogan's team has 5 people, Flair's only has 4 - that seems unfair to Flair, The Brain would not put up with that...
