I bet! But hey, it's all worth it to have it sit on a shelf and collect dust like the rest of our stuff we own and have on display! Ha ha ha

That’s an awesome thing to do, best of it is you can always be adding to it! There’s so many good names on it already! Beautiful belt too.

Finally added to the collection by meeting JBL in Pittsburgh yesterday. Interaction was short and dude looked tired as hell. That said, JBL in my opinion had a one of the top ten reigns in the last twenty years. So I naturally am very happy to add him, even if it’s just three initials.

Is Mick Foley’s signature really that bad?

Is Mick Foley’s signature really that bad? Sadly, yes. It honestly looks like a bunch of circles.

Sadly, yes. It honestly looks like a bunch of circles. [/quote] It is probably due to the space and also the texture he signed on. He normally gives a nice unique signature even if a non wrestling fan wouldn't know who it was.

Yeah he seemed kind of out of it when I met him. Most likely an off day.

Yeah he seemed kind of out of it when I met him. Most likely an off day. Foley is a strange one to me. I met him at a sports convention in 2000. It wasn't a wrestling show so he seemed a lot more relaxed and talkative. Just a few months later when his second book came out he was an hour later to a signing, I know not his fault but rushed through the people. The only person he even talked to was some guy asking about Rikishi, of all people. I think he's gotten better in the last few years but there is a site with 50+ pages of people with negative stories of meeting with him. It's called "Foley is Crud" and was started by a UK promoter who had a pretty disappointing experience with Foley. Mick downgraded his first class plane ticket to coach, pocketed the difference, was difficult during the show and when the promoter wanted him to a video for his company, Foley refused to say the name either because he was with WWE at the time or was hoping WWE would come calling. I do appreciate his work with RAINN and what he does as Santa Claus and I think maybe he was going through some troubling times (maybe health related from wrestling) as most of the stories around from around the same time period.

That thread is hilarious. There was a thread on reddit awhile back where some guy made a custom Foley shirt, Foley saw it and then stole the guys design.

I love Foley regardless. With as much brain damage as that dude has suffered, we are all lucky he hasn’t hurt himself or others.

That thread is hilarious. There was a thread on reddit awhile back where some guy made a custom Foley shirt, Foley saw it and then stole the guys design. That is crazy. I was just thinking about someone I used to know very well who took some of my wrestling pictures and used them to promote a project he was working on and wouldn't give me any credit. The shirt thread also reminds me of a video of a guy who wanted George Steele to sign and hold up a shirt the guy made and Steele went off the rails refusing to hold it up, accusing the guy of trying to promote and make money off of Steele and telling viewers to go to his personal website to buy shirts. Steele could be pretty difficult no matter his age. From what I've read the last few years, Mick's been a lot better at signings but the years mentioned in that "crud" thread he wasn't the best. I'm thinking there was some sort of brain damage that changed him from kindly to not so great back to kindly.

Don't get me wrong, Foley is in my top 10 all time, but something is definitely off with him mentally.
