Just curious, what is different between 87 & 88? Pretty much the same except no Bad News Brown and Powers of Pain in '87. And not much of a Ultimate Warrior presence since he only joined halfway through the year. Actually, I'll change my answer to '88.

I usually only collect 1 year at a time and can not tell you how many times I’ve sold / bought different collections of a certain year over and over.
It’s between 97 and 98 for me. 80% of the attires and roster is the same. 97 I’d get DM Bret and Legends Bulldog where as 98 I’d be able to add the UE Ultimate Warrior and UE Rock.
I’m going to go with 1998

Since 98 is the year I really became a fan, I’m going with that.

2001 Plus a few other WCW Championship Title Belts, as well as all of the ECW Championship Title Belts from 2001 not pictured. this. i'd say '02 and '03 are a close runner up for me

Just curious, what is different between 87 & 88? about 365 days But really 86-89 are all very close together if you count WWF & NWA because most of the same player were in one of the two companies. I went with 88 mainly because that was Ultimate Warrior & Sting first full year in their respective company. Even though both debuted in late 87 you'd be limited on looks. The only big loss I could see with going 88 over 87 is not getting Piper. Im pretty sure he didnt wrestle in '88 but not sure if he did any other work or if he was in Hollywood the whole time.

He’d be missing from WM III-V.

I believe he means the time period in between those two events couldn’t he have just said he missed WM4 lol But he wasn’t exclusively talking about Wrestlemania. He was saying Piper wasn’t around in between those two events I think.

1989. 88 had a very slight edge in quality, but I prefer the attires and looks of 89.

He was saying Piper wasn’t around in between those two events I think. him being at WM3 means he was there in 87, V means he was there in 89 so if you picked those years you’d get Piper. 88 you don’t. Could’ve also said he was out all 88

1997 in terms of the WWF Roster & outfits. Though I like some of 1994's roster, though that's only a handful of people I'd like, so 1997 would be the year for WWF, WCW & ECW.
