target is absolutely LOADED with "top talent"....you know....those figures mattel makes that are supposed to just sit on shelves because all the kids looking for their rock and cena figures or mommy and daddy browsing the toy aisle always need drew mcintyre and biggest heel ever roman reigns to buy their kid a wrestling figure
walmarts have gotten about 10 cases each of the basic series with dexter lumis, bald HBK and braun strowman as well as hollywood rock and cena
we're just at that point where a lot of junk stuff is clogging pegs/shelves, stores are a mess, employees don't care, etc.

The fact that Vince released over half the roster this year is probably playing in role is figures warming like the elite 85 wyatt Here’s what I don’t get about that….even though they were released by Wwe, most or at least a few will probably be picked up by Aew & use the same name there as in Wwe if it’s their real one….so why don’t these still sell? …..I mean, if your a fan you’re a fan no matter where they wrestle and what exactly does it matter what name is on the package unless your a moc collector which still shouldn’t matter if your a fan of that person right?

There's nothing wrong with your logic here, I think you're on the right track. I'm thinking it comes down to the kids. It's apparent that not too many kids watch NXT, and AEW is like an "adult internet wresting fan" type of product. I remember when AEW first started and I heard all the language they were allowed to use in their promos. I remember thinking "nope, my kid isn't watching this anymore." It makes it hard to sell action figures to kids when your tv product isn't really geared at them at all.

Yeah my Walmarts are stuck on E86, E87 and Hollywood Rock/Cena Oh and don’t forget the basics and battlepacks One of my Walmarts either found more E86 or got more in because they had more when I went earlier. Complete bullshit.

BINGO on all points.
Plus as kids increasingly move away from toys, figures that appeal to them only will sit longer...

Well all my McFarlane DC figures I have preordered that were supposed to arrive from Amazon before last week have all been pushed back until late Jan - Feb. As far as wrestling figures go anything I wanted I ordered from RSC. So the only figure I was looking for is the Piper as Nada. Which I haven’t found, but Walmart has had plenty of other figures. The Targets now only have UE ( Rock/Cena) Legends (Piper/JYD/Gunn) and the Top Picks. ( Drew/Roman/Rey) and various Elite females. I have seen multiples of Ripley, Status, Candice, Bayley and Chyna figures at my area Targets. You haven't found Hollywood Piper? That says something to me about distribution as I know you are one of the first to find most things. The selection here in Canada in some parts are actually pretty decent considering we are usually really behind. We have elite 87, 88 and 89 on shelves. The Goon CE has popped up but not in full cases like previous CE's. Toys'R'Us are getting Legends series 12 then you have the standard basics and showdown packs nobody cares about. Cena and Rock from the Hollywood line are everywhere with very few Pipers. We also have too many Mae Young and Mustafa figures to count. No sign of Zodiac. I have yet to see a Piper around my parts, for a Walmart exclusive I would love for these to be in abundance or at the very least on the .ca website. I'll keep waiting and looking but am losing hope.

Just went to one of my Walmarts earlier and they were left with Asuka, Carmella, and Candice. If they put them on clearance for half off I might pick up Carmella.

I still haven't found Hollywood Piper and I'm afraid I never will Same here, the further we get removed from the release date the more I worry Walmart's will just move on and no more will come in. I've seen empty pegs with the WWE Hollywood price tags in two stores now. Also, have people tell me twice now "Just saw them in (name of town here, usually 1 hour away) but it wasn't for me so left it" which is a bummer to hear and not be able to actually get to said other town/city.

I still haven't found Hollywood Piper and I'm afraid I never will May have to hit the bay unfortunately. I saw like 3-4 at one of my Walmarts but picked up 2 for people on here. Now Cena and Rock just warm while they could order Piper instead.

I saw 1 E88 figure at Walmart the other day. But I think the Survivor series elite will come & go quick & had I not seen 1 E88 figure, my guess would’ve been 88 & 89 would get skipped & we’d move on to E90 when the time comes.

Local target has a bunch of the basic SummerSlam Bayley 11.99(also since its 3.99 and a good filler on a Ringside order makes it not worth it for many to grab her in stores). It's a decent figure but not a strong seller thats all they had for the past 3 weeks. No Elites. they did have the Lords of Power Beastman though. There toy section has been empty for the past few weeks. This holiday season was pretty much a nightmare.

I feel like around the holidays retail doesn’t the many new sets in and your best bet is ringside because they put most newer figures for retail or below on sales, I picked up an elite 88, 89, and 90 figure for less then retail a few weeks ago

What is the typical delay when Walmart and Target start to sell figures after Ringside receives their initial shipment? Wondering if I should wait to buy Elite Hogan, Top Picks Rock, Sting, etc. at Walmart or Target or go ahead and buy at Ringside. Trying to balance cost with receiving sooner. But I also don’t want to miss out in case I can’t find at retail. Thoughts? Thanks.

I only have 2 Walmarts nearby (no Targets) and they’re not great at getting in figures. They got in multiple cases of E86 and E87 in the last probably 4-5 months after I had already got the ones I wanted from those series from RSC. I did pay more, yes, but I was able to use PayPal credit. I know RSC has higher prices but it’s worth it to me in the end so I don’t have to worry about hunting or paying scalper prices.

Last time I was at Target was Christmas EVe, so apparently they got Elite 88 and Legends 12 in after Christmas then they got war-zoned. 🤣 (I did pick up the Piper though)

That's awful. Also, while I have seen a section that empty, I have never before seen a section (here) that was 7 women and one guy.
Why can't the women rot where I am? They're always the first thing to go around here. Part of the reason I stopped bothering with Walmart.
