I'm a loose collector who displays all figures with their entrance gear and accessories intact. Yet some figures in the ring gear only can look like entirely different figures without the robes, hats, masks, etc.
Sensational sherri, solo run warlord, honky tonk man, Iraqi sgt slaughter, rick rude, Ricky steamboat (all versions) etc. Does anyone else feel the need to buy some figures twice to display both looks?

Yep. I bought two Ultimate Rouseys for this very reason.

I display all of my figures how they are in the ring. I have a giant box of attires and accessories I'll sell on ebay one day. Over 200 different figures worth of stuff.

The ones I do have loose I prefer to display in entrance gear, with titles if I have one for them.
Except for the Miz figures I have, I don’t care for his big bulky plastic they give him. Can’t hardly move the arms to pose them. I just leave his headbands and glasses on.

I generally like to include entrance stuff on my display, but if it's something that's radically different, I'll change it up from time to time. It keeps me from letting my displays go unattended.
My most frequent swaps are changing UE Ronda Rousey from her entrance gear to her ring gear, Unrivaled Jericho from his entrance gear to ring gear, and swapping out the heads of the luchadores that come with alternate heads with their masks.

Any figure I'm displaying loose I display will all entrance gear and character relevant accessories (unless there's like a second shirt or etc.) I'v sometimes thought abut picking up doubles to display different ways (Elite 2-Pack Jeff Hardy for example) but in the end if I spend money on a double, I keep it MOC.

I know what you’re saying but I won’t buy it twice, maybe just change the display. I always feel like a figure is incomplete when displayed without the entrance gear. The only ones I purposely remove the entrance gear is KOTR Bret (although that’s more post match) and the Nasty Boys because the coats are so big and stiff

No takes up too much space. Shelves are already over flowing. Don’t need two of same elite

Yes I feel I need to with the new UE taker I feel I could represent 97 and then 98 with the entrance coat. I also bought 2 kamalas one sits in around the 84-87 guys and one with the 92/93 area.

I've thought about it with Vader but ultimately went with switching it up between displaying his entrance helmet by his feet in front of him and holding it up.

Lord Tensai is another figure I would display both ways.

Not multiples. Occassionally I'll spruce up my display and alternate. But generally I pose with entrance stuff on unless it's like the Nasty Boys where their coats are utter garbage.

Depending on the figure, I'll get 2 or more to do something like this. I do this mainly with my 2006/2007 Ruthless Aggression collection.
Ultimate Edition 10 John Cena - I bought 2, so I could have one on the Raw shelf, and one on the ECW shelf. The Raw one is just ring attire with the yelling head, where as the ECW is full entrance gear with the neutral head.
WrestleMania 37 Elite Series Edge - Bought 2 for the same reason as Cena, one for Raw, one for ECW. The Raw one is standard with the vest on, and for the ECW one I head swapped it with the first RSC Exclusive, and added a custom white tank top that he wore at ONS 06.
Survivor Series Elite Jeff Hardy - I bought 3 of these since it's such a great figure, with the only negative being no arm tattoo. I've got one on the Raw shelf, one on a Jeff Hardy shelf, and the third i used to make a custom Jeff.
WrestleMania 36 Elite Series Mick Foley - Same as Edge, one for Raw, one for ECW. I head swapped a Jakks CS Mankind head onto one (Just a Foley head with the right skintone).
RSC Exclusive Matt Hardy - I bought 4 of these when they were dirt cheap for black Friday a few years ago. I've got one on the Smackdown shelf, 2 on the Matt Hardy shelf, and i ended up selling one to a friend. Head swapped one with the Basic 4.

I can't really afford more than one copy of a loose figure, I do have some duplicates as MOC but if if I have a duplicate loose figure, it's for a custom.
That said, I almost always display entrance gear on them. There are very few exceptions. One is Sherri (I hate that dress). Another is Io Shirai. Liv Morgan, I don't really consider the bathrobe as entrance gear, so it's in a bag. I think everyone else has their entrance gear.

I have very few doubles and the doubles I have are to have 1 loose & 1 MOC. I just display them with all their accessories. For me, no need for 2 of the same figure with and without accessories, but you do you.

Sure I’d like to do so however I couldn’t afford to do so. So no.
Depends on what item comes with the figure, I decided if I’ll display the figure w/ or w/o the item. Like SG items (shirts, jacket, robes, etc) I’ll only display the figure(s) if the SG item looks cool on them or if it’s fitting. The non SG items such as hoodies, vest, oversized muscle shirts, I’ll display my figs w/ them on. Even know those oversized muscle shirts suck (the kind that came with many of the earlier elite series figs) I still feel the need to display them with it on to complete the look of my display.

I've only done this with Elite 83 Sasha Banks. One for my Raw shelf and the other for my Smackdown shelf. I rarely display my figures with their clothes on unless it makes them look cooler like a coat or jacket.
