Hey, just a heads up, I took the hoodie off my Reckoning (Mia Yim) figure so that I wouldn't take it into my apartment and good word she's stained to hell and back. Damn near the entirety of her arms are covered in a layer of black.
Just a heads up that Reckoning's hoodie stains badly. Not sure what to do about it other than to wash it and put it back on.

That's a shame. After the whole Rick Rude debacle, I thought they'd gone on a pretty good run of not packaging dark-colored soft goods on the figures in package. I don't have the figure, but I just looked, and it seems like it's a much heavier material and dye than the shirts have been lately, so I guess I'm not surprised. Nobody bought that fig anyway LOL it's literally the only one in the set you can't just hop on RSC and decide you want right away but no you right. |

It doesn't show up well in pictures (especially with my harsh lighting) but the entire arm here is tinted grey.

Speaking of, was it ever confirmed that washing Rude's robe would make it not stain the figure? I washed my rude robe and have him posed with it for the last few months...

I remember when Tito came out people were complaining about staining. I remember a suggestion to leave the shirt in warm water to let it bleed out

Will using nail polish remover help get rid of it (I've never had a stained figure so not sure if it would work).

But no, if anyone knows a good way to fix this, I'm all ears. It's not the end of the world for me if I cant, I'll probably be displaying her with the hoodie on anyway, but on the chance that I want to customize one as a straight-off Mia figure, I'm gonna want to know how to fix the staining.

Surely someone knows a way to remove these stains, especially after how bad the Legends Rude was. Maybe try acetone? Not sure if that will work or not. |

nail polish remover and a q tip is less invasive and abrasive as acetone but if it doesnt work then move on to acetone and a q tip to remove the staining. DONT use it on the actual plastic though like the neck or torso bc it will make the skin tone dryer than the rest if that makes sense? it takes a layer off almost. But for soft plastic like the arms and legs it will just remove the stain or logos if thats what you want. |

This is why whenever I get a figure with cloth goods, especially beyond a normal shirt. I do the vinegar wash.
