Was watching NWO Back to Black DVD and noticed Hogan's initials are Triple H. Did Paul Levesque do this on purpose. Was Hunter Hearst Hemsley a play on the name Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Seems more than coincidence.

Hunter was around WWF for over a year before the Hollywood name came along. I don't think calling him Triple H later had anything to do with Hogan. I think it was just a progression of Hunter being a "cooler, edgier" character with DX and needing to move on from the blue blood gimmick. I feel like it was Mr. Perfect who coined the term Triple H though not sure if before or after Hollywood but still, don't think either are related.

Here's a fact for people, Triple H was originally going to be the third man in the NWO invasion. And he was still going to be Triple H too!
However, since Hunter Hearst Helmsley was a WWF name, Triple H was going to go by Henry Heffner Humphrey.

When I was a kid I entered HHH & Hogan into a feud in my figure fed and the winner would get the rights to the Triple H name.

Well, I have to ask then.... Who won the feud?! Who got to use the "Triple H" name??

I still like the story Hogan tells where he said he went to Vince in 1990 and asked to be Heel vs Warrior and wanted to go by the name Triple H.

Did he say this story before or after the story he told of press slamming the 8 foot tall 1000lbs Andre the Giant over his head at Wrestlemania III??

Ripping every muscle out of his body and shattering seven of his bones in front of a live crowd of more than six and a half million.

Yea I think Perfect was calling Hunter Triple H on mic and backstage before he officially became HHH

HHH won and Hogan was forced to drop Hollwood and just became Hulk Hogan again. I remember that Christmas I got The Wrestling Album CD so used Real American for his entrance.

I was todays years old when I realised that was a thing. Purely coincidence though, he was HHH in WWF in '95, a year before Hulk became "Hollywood".
