Here in Texas, I'm not sure if they'd even be considered "peg warmers" as much as entire section warmers, lol. I'm talking row after row of Bulldog/Bossman, Trish/Chyna and Lashly/Booker. Stacks of them on the main shelfing on the bottom half of the walls, and then piles upon piles of them stacked on the very top shelf.
I can't remember the last time I saw any Elites in any Walmarts in these markets. Nothing but insane amounts of Battle Packs and then the unwanted Basics like Karrion Kross and Bald HBK.
Definitely not the hit that Mattel were expecting.

I would trade my B108 Braun Strowman and WM36 Basic Seth Rollins for that Bobby Lashley/King Booker BP, LOL.

My local, Central NY Wal-Mart doesn't have any. Not even sure there are pegs for them, I should check. A lot of single basics, but not so much that I would say the store is clogged with them.
Regional variations between stock always interest me. It feels like the differences have only increased with the current supply chain situation.

In October and November they were overloaded with waves 5 & 6. They are pretty much cleared out now. One store got wave 7(Kane/Austin wave) last week.

We had stores drowning with them, but now nothing but empty pegs after the holidays other than a few stores still having Kross and Strowman hanging out from that wave and also the dreaded basic 120.
I’m shocked they went along with everything else over the holidays seeing as most of the Battle Packs were weak at best…

I stops buying most battle packs and basics since the articulation changes. My local Walmart stores are still flooded with the Mankind/Austin wave. I want the Bulldog set for the Bulldog's head, but at $17 it's an easy pass.

There was seemingly an absurd amount at all the Wal Mart stores but then not a single one got Elites the whole month of November or December and it made them completely clear out the week before Christmas. Well, that and the characters they had were good like Street Profits, Cena and Shawn, Booker T and Lashley, etc.

My most local Walmart is flooded with the following:
Basic 123: No one wants Dexter Lumis (at least 12 of him), plenty of Strowman and Jake Atlas as well.
Elite 85: Bray Wyatt. At least 4 on the pegs for more than 3 months. Liv Morgan won't go either.
Championship Showdown 2-Packs: Pegs flooded, sky shelves also loaded with Cena/HBK and the Street Profits.
Hollywood Elites: At least 10 Cena just sitting there, Rock moving slow as well.
=> Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, my Walmart only had 6 Elites (5 Bray Wyatt, 1 Liv Morgan). Not one of them sold the entire month.

Haven't been to my walmart in a month but last time I was there they had 3 full pegs of the ChSd figures, ranging from series 2-6. I ended up grabbing a series 2 Triple H/Rock set just for the elbow pads. I put them on my UE Rocky. I've also grabbed the Drew/Seth (S4), Trish/Chyna (S5), and Giant/Flair (S3) within the past 3 months. The only set I haven't seen there is the Usos, unfortunately, since that's a set I really wanted.

i kind of feel like we've moved past the point where we need 2 packs of wrestling figures anymore. unless it was for actual tag teams. it just feels like they HAVE to keep making them because it's been a thing since Jakks took over and they were making them.
but they just sit and rot because they aren't putting the right mix of people in them, plus filling them with stupid gimmicks like overly large stands that nobody needs because basics are for kids to play with, not collectors to display.

It was a good way to get managers and Valets, but they haven’t done that in awhile. Rusev and Lana, Brock and Heyman, Miz and Maryse, etc. They could’ve done Roman and Heyman, Macho and Liz, Shawn and Sherri, etc. We almost got that Heenan and Monsoon one.

Ever since they switched to "Championship Showdown" it's been awful. Nobody wants those kind of basics. The Battle Pack line was great when, as stated, it got us tag teams and managers that we wouldn't normally have gotten. Figures like my go-to BP46 Shane, the COO Hunter, that one Vickie Guerrero, RAW Commissioner Foley, Heck even the original Zelina Vega figure. Those were all great additions to the line from the Battle Pack series. Plus, the 2-packs of the Vaudevillains, The Ascension, and The Singh Brothers... I'm fairly certain those are the only figures those tag teams got.
But then they started treating Basics in general as trash figures, followed by for some bizarre reason making the line about matchups rather than pairings, and yeah, It's a mostly useless series now. I've picked up a couple packs for various reasons but for the most part, the entire line is pointless. That said, they seem to have shifted gears away from the "Championship Showdown" theme and are now releasing pairs again. That new Uso two pack was pretty decent. Still trying to get ahold of one of those. I feel if they were to fully abandon the championship theme and go back to the old theme of "Battle Packs", then the line would have hope once more.
