While that means little in actuality one thing it does indicate is they probably don’t have too bad a relationship so there’s potential for Rick to be offered a deal or signed one day
Hypothetically would you take a solo ricj Steiner in Steiner either gear? We all know Scott is unlikely and mattel have done one half of a tag team a few times before.

I think the potential of displaying him next to his son makes a solo Rick figure a lot more appealing than it'd otherwise be. Shame they don't have anyone else from the Varsity Club available to make for the people who want an era-appropriate display, though.

I would 100% but a solo Rick in Steiners gear. For starters, I’d rather have it just in case a hypothetical Scott ever comes out. Plus, Rick’s gear was always so cool that it would stand out. Give me the dinosaurs! 😉

Rick was my favorite of the two so I would gladly buy one. Same,when I was a kid Rick was right up there with Sting,Pillman and Z-Man for my favorites of WCW. |

I think the best thing to do is rush two figures out. One in his late 90s WCW solo run. And one in his Steiner Brothers gear (possibly WM9 since he wore that one quite a bit and it goes with his WWF Hasbro Figure). This way if they somehow lose Rick, and then somehow sign Scott, they can just make Scott in his Steiner brothers gear then (also preferably his WM9 look) along with his big poppa pump looks. Lets just hope that they both get signed some day.

All these year’s they’ve had Billy Gunn under a deal and we’ve never gotten a smoking Gunn figure….I’d be surprised if they would do a Steiner figure without Scott.

They should give Rick the Fred Ottman treatment and bang out a bunch...Magnificent 7 1999 Rick, steiner breakup Rick, 1993 wwf, pre wwf wcw
I'd buy all of them. Rick was awesome.

I wouldn't expect a Rick Steiner figure any time soon because we don't know if he's on a Legends deal but I do think with Bron Breakker getting some love from WWE is a good sign for the future of Steiner (both Rick and Scott) figures from Mattel.
