Straight from Take-Two:
It's also rumored that EA is gunning for the exclusive right for the exclusive license for the CLC and that's why Take-Two just washed their hands.

Maybe now 2K can make a next-gen football game that isn't a turd.

I heard about this, it really sucks. I loved the college hoops games, probably more than the pro games easily. Just another sports game to the list I won't buy anymore, because EA's sports games are turds in cellophane.
Pro football, college basketball... all the while MLB licensing SHOULD belong to EA. Although, Take Two or whoever makes those games at this point has supposedly made strides to improve that game from last year's version...

I honestly prefer the March Madness series over the 2K series when it comes to college basketball. I guess I just played the EA games so much that when I tried out the 2K games I was way behind on the controls and such. I kept getting foul and charging calls.
My biggest gripe about March Madness 08 though is that free throws are hard as hell. I always gage whether or not I'm going to win an online game by the first time I send someone to the free throw line. If they hit them...they will beat me. Because once they find out I can't hit them, they'll intentionally foul me the last 3 minutes of the game so I can't score any points. I've gotten to where I can hit one here and there. But 2 out of 15 just doesn't cut it.
