I’m gotta have them all I forgot about the Rey Mysterio masters of the universe I think he leads with the most figures like this with 3 then. I mean Scott hall has 1 and razor 2 (1 chase) but it’s two different characters. Hogan has the most by far MOTU Hollywood Workout Attire (yellow) plus package variants Workout Attire (blue) plus package variants Terry Boulder (red) Terry Boulder (blue) Oh shoot you are right I have them all too lol I actually have hogan masters of the wwe universe. All my motwweu are opened and all my superstars are sealed . Need a few more masters of the wwe universe to have the whole collection. |

Otherwise they have Macho Man (multiples), M$M, Typhoon (I think at least two), and The Rock.

Found the other case of superstars in the Walmart back room that I mentioned the other day. Bossman, Tatanka, and Angle. This is the first time I've seen this set in person. I will be purchasing on my next break.

Lucky you my Walmarts don’t have anything good closest one only has rocks left, they did have Brutus, Rey and Ramon like twice but nothing for weeks now, second Walmart has gotten older superstars on typhoon, macho man, rock million dollar man, and the 3rd Walmart has not gotten a new set since capt Lou albano and Vader. |

I have the black and white one. Gonna get the other one any day now. One of the customs I did just because was blue knee pads from a MOTWWEU Piper on an orange trunks MOTWWEU Savage. I wasn't sure if he ever wore it (I think I found an image online after I did it but it could have been red trunks, too), but it looks all right. *Edit to say I also bought multiples of his black and white MOTWWEU fig to have white wrestling boots for customs. Back then it was the only affordable option. |

Like you i go out at night to see what is new and noticed this trend as well. This is something i wanted to adress before as i literally see the same employees bringing out the same pallets BUT with a few hot boxes that would surely sell but instead of placing the hot product on overflowing pegs, they will put them back on the pallets before then buying them later on their shift. In other words they are purposely (in some cases) leaving the pegs full of red pants hogan (for example) but bring out hot boxes to the floor SO THEY CAN OPEN noTHEM, and as a team hiding big bossman on overstock shelves or on "return carts" till they get their 15 min smoke break where they can buy said figure and a drink (cough). I have seen this 3 times now and twice at the same store. So if they can open boxes and put them out they could also pull the pegwarmers and stock the hot toys. But no... The employees have outsmarted the walmart restock situation and corporate having axed all mid level executive positions doesn't have the pencil pushers to figure out why superstars aren't selling. Then there's the fact that they still haven't clearanced out the rocky maiva 3 pack which throws steves excuse (that he is sending walmart new squ's for red pants hogan) out the window. This is all on walmart. Sidearm quarterbacks everywhere would agree. There is no assortment of rocky maiva 3 packs. They could clearance those now, today, no new sku needed. I really want to understand why walmart never wants to clearance out product until years later. Who came up with that idea. Target has a fast turnover. They may not make as much per figure but they will make it in droves based on quantity. Walmarts model of maximizing roi is stupid and outdated and screams the practice of a reseller who will wait for that sucka to pay top dollar. Target acts like a business and is happy with their 75% profit. Those 3 packs will end up at ollies for 29.99 like the hogan 3 pack. Walmart could just reduce the price to 30$ themselves and they'd sell out in one day, but they'll instead sell them to ollies for 15$ or less after sitting on them for a year so that ollies can make the 30 dollars instead Pure stupidity. Again the perfect (mr.prrfect)example; they could have sold those 1000s of perfects and bambams for 10$ all day long but instead they sold them to ollies for 5$ or less. Whoever controls the toy side of the business should be axed immediately. They are losing walmart tons of money at my store they don't even make it to a pallet or floor we open whatever we see come off the truck right then and there on the line and divide it up between the collectors that's working that shift that's unloading everything and if it comes down to a chase or short packed figure we flip a coin between whoever's wanting it but the team lead and manager is also collectors and always allows us to get what we want it's gotten to the point where everyone has individual cases order for them with the extras or unwanted figures going to the sales floor or that's hidden in backroom from resellers but it's not just wrestling collectors that work here there's also tmnt star wars gi joe hot wheels marvel and DC collector's. As far as the inventory system anyone can order anything they want with as many cases they want but it has to be approved by a manager before it's accepted in the system to be shipped from distribution Center to the store. And we also know the customers who are true collectors who are regulars that we help out with things and we also know who all the local scalpers are that we tell whatever is on the shelf is all we got. Happy for ya but your post proves employees are getting first dibs which leaves nothing for the rest of us since most stores only get a few shipments per series. So based on your post and the guys above. I give up on Walmart. Good job. Employees win. Edit: read his post again. He is basically saying everyone including the managers are collectors. It is no wonder I never find anything at these stores other than red pants hogan who magically appears on the shelf in the morning. Back in the days employees would be fired if they were buying merchandise all the time. They have insider info and can manipulate the system. I am not shocked but it's too much. Walmart not purchasing enough in fears of getting stuck with them and employees buying up the rest leaving just a few scraps for resellers who hit walmart every late night and early morning before the average collector even wakes up. Then collectors are forced to buy them online from said poachers. I had been keeping track of ebay prices and noticed that we have gone from paying 25 to 30 to 35 to soon 40 dollars for a superstars figure on the aftermarket. With mr.t pushing 100$, demand is at an all time high and supply at an all time low (recent releases have less than a page on ebay in most cases; in lamens even kane at 2 per case is dwindling in supply; in lamens even scalpers Re having a hard time finding these), the only thing that will happen soon is that employees become the first line of defense. While some of these employees may have good intentions (saving the leftovers for real collectors); it puts them in charge of who gets what which means said product will be hidden in the backroom. This also explains why we see so many old cases show up on the Salesfloor in July when walmart does their audits. (Sometimes employees lose track of their hidden cases or another employee finds them and rehides it) This whole thing is too much for me at my age. This used to be a fun hobby but wakmart is not collector friendly and doesnt order enough for the rest of us. It's just not worth the hassle anymore. I'm going back on my walmart boycott. The whole thing is ridiculous. So now I gotta go work at Walmart to find a big bossman? F that |

Walmart is under-stocking these figures. They only seem to stock about one case of ANYTHING at any given time - which generally translates to One-of-each FIGURE per store, and if employees are buying them as soon as the store puts them out - there's no point in us driving there. I can relate. It's awfully frustrating to drive around to five different Walmarts and not see any new product... |

Went to my local Walmart on my way into work this morning had another Kurt and tatanka but no bossman. So they're getting more cases than they had been.
A long time ago I worked at Toys R Us and while employees were not supposed to buy stuff that hadn't been put out for customers it happened all the time it's not hard to put something on the wrong shelf in the store room and bring it out right before you go to lunch or break or it's not hard to put it in the wrong spot out in the store for example behind merchandise that you know doesn't move very quickly I'm not saying that's what's going on now I'm just saying it's exceptionally easy to do
